Baby WallaceUnborn UPDATED: 2-01-03 I'm sorry I have not replied before now, the thought has crossed my mind several times to let yall know what has been going on. But it is painfull and not easy to talk about. We know for sure that our baby had the syndrome, he was still born on Jan. 6th at 15wks, we named him Tristan David Wallace. We were able to see and hold him even though he was so very small and we also had him baptized by the hospital chaplain. I want to thank yall for your prayers and maybe now you could keep our family in your prayers, this has been a very difficult time for us. Tristan is the 4th baby we have lost to this syndrome. The drs say the odds are 25% with each pregnancy and a couple of weeks ago I told my husband that's it I can't go thru this anymore. But all I think about is having a healthy baby and I know that I can't give up (I hope that I'm not being selfish) so we have decided to wait till the fall and then try again. So please pray for us that next time our baby will be healthy. Thank You, Angel ADDED: 12-11-02 I am 11wks pregnant with our baby. We went for our ultrasound today and they saw fluid on the babies neck which is probably the beginning of a cystic hygroma. We have already lost 3 babies due to a syndrome called Lethal multiple pygeria syndrome, it is an autosomal recessive syndrome with a 25% chance of recurrence. The dr feels that this fluid is the beginning of the cyst and that the baby most likely has the syndrome. Please pray for my baby and that the fluid will be gone when we go back in two weeks. Thank You so much. Angel
