hope you are all doing good...
tomorrow is Rex's birthday...we are cooking him a good dinner and baking him a cake...(pray for my cooking) ha ha ha...
today Craig is having a Thanksgiving lunch at school...he likes school so much better than the last 2 years, but still hates it...he is so lucky to have the most wonderful teachers...
Lauren is busy all the time with school and friends...she is now the manager of the girl's softball team...she is taking some really hard classes in high school, but doing great!!!
I am doing my usual...staying busy and praying alot...

summer is almost officially over...school starts on Friday, a 2 hour day, and full time on Monday...I am just thankful we have a summer...
craig's hearing aid has not come in yet...

hey everyone...just got back last night from our vacation...it was great...we were with family for most of the trip...went to 6-flags and to the beack a couple of days...Sally is the best cook in the world...we were treated like royalty...now that summer is here, we don't have plans so we are just going to hang out...the summer is so short, it won't be boring...

Hey everyone...the lock in was, ok...nothing exciting, very tiring...Lauren is trying out for cheer for the high school tomorrow...please pray she makes it...she gave a speech today for the updoming 6th graders...her nor Craig neither one wanted me to come see it...ha ha...Craig was there as an upcoming 6th grader...he got to hear his sister's speech...Craig still has that whole in his right eardrum...still praying for the Lord to take away those cysts...next scans, March 11th, 2009...never too early to start praying!!!

two of the tree scans came back normal yesterday...PRAISE THE LORD...we are waiting on the last test results...however, he has cysts on his tryroid...PLEASE PRAY IN JESUS' NAME THAT THIS IS NOTHING...he will have an ultrasound on the 14th to check it out...also, an echocardiogram because chemo can effect your heart years after you are off treatment...

Hey everyone...hope everyone is well...the kids are now back in school...this is the first full day...it is really hard for Craig...he gets so nervous he throws up sometimes before school...i feel so sorry for him but there is nothing i can do to help...
we went on a short trip to Dollywood...lauren brought a friend...we had a super time...

Hey everyone...Friday is scan day...please pray they are clear and normal in Jesus' name...Craig does have memory problems...it was confirmed yesterday at Wilkerson...he also has an appointment on March 7th to see what to do about the hole in his right ear...the tube has fallen down behind the ear drum...

Hey everyone...we had a nice long weekend...it's back to school today...Craig's scans are one week from Friday...please pray they are clear and normal in Jesus' name...he also has some testing for learning disability on Monday...please remeber the hole in his right ear also...he has an appointment to get that checked out on March 7th...

Craig has hearing tests tomorrow...the next day I have an IEP meeting...the foollowing week he starts being tested for audio processing disorder and then maybe for learning processing disorder...maybe we can get some understaning from others why Craig doesn't retain information and has short-term momory...they are finding the methotrexate causes learning and memeory disorders...
please keep Mrs. Harper in your prayers as she is now on hospice...God workd miracles everyday...

Hey everyone...
we had a good time on our fall break...Craig fell against the nightstand and hurt his ear so he couldn't ride the rides at 6-flags...we came home a day early because we didn't want him to feel bad not riding the rides...the girls rode saturday and Craig and I just sat on the grass all day...other than that...it was a fun trip...Craig does not want to go back to school...

Hey everyone...well, we went camping at grandpa's and it was the rainest weekend grandpa could ever remember having...it even hailed...daddy went back in the house while lauren, craig, and kirsten tuffed it out...i got to admit i was scared...
uncle kip is in from virginia...he will be coming here on saturday and staying until monday...
this is the last week of school and we are ecstatic...
craig's class is doing nothing but fun stuff and lauren is doing nothing but final exams and cheerleading...
this is a stressful week for her...mallory is here now and her and lauren will be studying for finals whenever kirsten leaves...kirsten is in a different school system...
mallory is also busy...she made basketball and volleyball and is already on the tennis team...boy...she's a busy girl...lauren will be cheering for her at the games...
kirsten is the only girl to have made the football team at her school...I was impressed...

Hey everyone...Lauren had a really, really fun time at the "Believe" conference...
they had lots of interesting things to do...
we survived the tornados without any damage....PRAISE GOD...
other counties did get hit hard with tornados and many people lost their lives...
Craig's speech teacher is giving him a break from speech for the next two weeks until he get his mouth expander out...that's a super idea...

Craig, who is 6 years old, was diagnosed in early August with type-B stage 4 Lymphoma. It has been and continues to be a horrible and trying journey for his parents and 9 year old sister, Lauren.
