UPDATE: 2-18-08
Tonight I spent some time reading back from the first entry in 2004. Everytime I go back and read, I am constantly amazed at the strength Dillion has, and all that he has overcome through the years. He is certainly a fighter.
Today has been a little better than yesterday, and we are hopeful that tomorrow will be even better. Dillion slept a lot today, but was awake far more than he has been all week. His color is looking better today, although his chest still sounds horrible, and he is still on 5 liters of oxygen with breathing treatments every two hours, I think that he is turning a curve into the right direction and is certainly feeling at least a little better.
Tomorrow morning we will be heading to Tulsa to see Dr.Bowling. I am hopeful that she will prescribe some steroids so that Dillion is able to kick this nasty little bug even more quickly.
Not much to say tonight, my mind is sort of blank tonight, mainly due to severe lack of sleep. I will update again tomorrow after we get home from the doctor

Hello all~
We heard about Dillon's Muscle Biopsy and his neurologist said "It DOESN'T APPEAR that Dillon has a Mito Disease." YEA!!!!!
It's been a long time. The boys are know in daycare 4-5 days a week. I am in the process of completing the training for my new job. Things have been going really well and we are REALLY busy.
Dillon goes to daycare 4-5 days a week, pretty much all day. Monday I drop off Will and Robby then Dillon and I venture to Children's Hospital for his PT appointment. After PT I take him to his speech therapy group at Local Elementary school. It starts at 10:30A. He loves going to school, he feels like such a big boy. Dillon is done with speech at 11:45A, my dad then picks him up and brings him back to daycare. On Wednesday he also has his Speech Therapy group but in the morning has OT at the Chaska Health Center. After Dillon is done with OT he again goes to the Elementary School. My dad then picks him up on Wednesdays and then off to daycare he goes.
Tuesday and Thursdays Dillon goes to daycare in the morning with his brothers and then a bus picks him up at 9A and brings him to preschool. He comes back to daycare at 12P.
Dillon loves being busy, he is almost four so there isn't any of this sitting still business. His brothers are both walking now so they also are keeping us on our toes. Will is walking better than Robby. Robby started actual "walking" about 1-2 weeks ago. He still crawls sometimes but is definetly getting better.
Dillon is finally starting to get taken down off of his Keppra. His neurologist started with his afternoon dose and lowered it from 2.5 cc's to 1 cc. This is fabulous as we have been waiting for this for a few month now. Dillon just started this on Friday. The last few months have been really well for him. He is talking a lot more and eating better. Still NO seizure activity of any kind. We are still have difficulty in the potty training and the listening (will this ever end??????). We are having him sit on the potty and he just doesn't care. I also bought Dillon a twin bed and he will hopefully start transitioning to that very soon, we just need to get the parts to hold the mattress in place.
I think that is all for now. Talk to you later.

Nothing new has been going on. Still crazy. Robert and Will had a good birthday. They got a few new toys and some new clothes. They both have their one year molars coming in so they have been very crabby. About two weeks ago Will was running temps due to the molars and this week Robert isn't eating and has diarreah from the molars. If it's not one thing it's another. :)
Dillon is doing GREAT! He is still repeating things and is starting to talk a lot more. He has even started putting 2 words together every so often. Dillon is going through a "selective listening" phase where all day I have to tell him "no" and then he gets mad does his little crabby dance (very funny to watch) and then he cries. Not a whimper a cry like he is being tortured or something. He is a very dramatic child. Dillon is also going through a "jealousy" stage. We feed his brothers therefore he won't eat unless you are sitting with him and sometimes to get him to eat you have to help him. I am ready for both of these stages to be DONE! We are enjoying the weather and getting outside quite a bit.

UPDATE: 4-18-06
I am so sorry about the lack of updating. We have been very busy with Therapy and Preschool. Life with 3 kids is crazy!
Ok this is going to be short but I will update soon again I promise. Dillon had his muscle biopsy done on April 4th. He did great and wanted to get up and run right away. We will be getting the results back in about 3 months. I don't want to wait that long.
In my last entry all of my charming boys were sick. Robert and Will had pneumonia 2 times each and Dillon had a double ear infection. We had sick kids for about 2 months. 6 doses of antibiotics later we were better. :) FINALLY!
Nothing else is really happening. Dillon is loving preschool and still beating on his brothers. They will be 1 TOMORROW. Can you believe it? Where has the year gone? My babies are going to be one. It's funny because they have started to beat up Dillon now. Will is walking and eating solid food. Robert is pulling to stand and doesn't really want a lot to do with MOST people food. He loves peaches and muffins. We are having a little party tomorrow for the twins tomorrow. I am making cupcakes, I will post pictures tomorrow or Monday.
The last thing is that Dillon got casted for his Right foot AFO and he HATED it. He screamed alomost the whole time. Well when we got it he hated it more. They were shoving it one him and I kept saying that I thought it was too small. They said that was normal, I was thinking "Um, OK!" When he went to Preschool on Thursday (he also has therapy there) his PT totally agreed with me and said to NOT put it on him.
That is all for now I will update soon.

UPDATE: 3-28-06
This is going to be a fairly short update, I don't have a lot of time and I am going to put a prayer list to pray for some sick kiddo's that I check on.
Anyways, things have been going well. Dillon is starting to repeat things that we say (this could be bad :) LOL) and he seems to be catching on to the talking thing. I am so glad that he is making progress. I am in the process of scheduling his Muscle Biopsy but the county in slow. Their insurance has been pending for 1 1/2 months. There case worker (the supervisor) has been out of town for about a month and a week of the last 2 months. Noboday else can open their case, we are approved but they are slow.
Hopefully next week. Anyways, so when I have his insurance number I will be making that appointment. Dillon is still receiving OT, PT and Speech. He is throwing temper tantrums with his therapists and hitting them though. I don't like this stage at all, it needs to be done. Three! :) Last week on Thursday Dillon started at a Preschool ready program through the school district (where he receives therapy). He really seemed to have fun.
There was another little girl who is non-verbal (there are 4 kids with special needs in this class), Dillon kept going up to her and saying "hi". He was flirting! Very cute, thats my boy! Overall I would have to say that Dillon is doing very well. He is starting to like the Big brother thing more I think too. He still gets jealous but at least he isn't pulling them off the couch. :) LOL
Will and Robert are both sick. Will has been sick, runny nose and cough for about 2 1/2 weeks. We have took him to the doctor and they keep saying "virus". OK then! Also, Will is MOBILE! It's crazy, I have to chase him all over the house. To make things worse/better (?) he started to pull himself into a standing position. GO WILL! I am not sure if this is good or bad.
I wanted them to be mobile but I think that I may need to rethink that decision. LOL! It will be nice that they can walk to the house by themselves from the van but.....:) Robert still just sits up and rolls over. He kinda does the Army thing when he sees something that he wants. Very Funny!
Anyways, I will update again in a day or two. Hope that things are going well for everyone. I am in the process of adding new pics and such so bear with me.
Thanks for checking on Dillon and God Bless you...

Dillon's appointment at the Mayo Clinic was interesting. His appointment was at 8:45A and we didn't get into the office to see the doctor until 10A. Then we waited for another hour to see the resident. After talking to the resident neurologist for about 1 hour we waited another hour to see the neurologist. This trip was filled with a lot of waiting. Suprisingly Dillon did very well with the waiting.

Hello Everyone...
Well tomorrow is the BIG day. We are leaving for Rochester at 5:30A. I am going with Mommy and Auntie Janis and then Grandpa is bringing down my brothers later. I am not sure what is going to happen but I will try to keep you all updated through out the week.
I am still having drops. I have my good days and my bad days. I am also starting to communicate a little better. When I am hungry I go to my highchair and say "eat". I have come so far.
I will try to update later this week and let you know how things are going.
Thanks for checking on me...
God Bless,
Dillon James

Hello Everyone...
Only a week until I go for my check-up at Mayo. I am not sure what to expect. I think that the doctors are going to be giving me an MRI to find out if my brain has further healed. Mommy is also going to ask the doctors if the drops are for sure seizures. We are not sure what to expect.
Yesterday I went to daycare and I had a blast. My grandpa Bill picked me up and we went to Subway for dinner. After dinner grandpa took me to the Community Center to play in the play place. I had a great time. I returned home at 8P and I was very tired, Mommy put me to bed at about 8:30P. I woke up at 11:30P covered in vomit. So then I got to take a bath...after sitting with mommy for 20 minutes and getting her all smelly. After my bath mommy laid me back down. I thought it was play time and cried on and off until 3A. I wanted to get out of my crib and mommy wouldn't let me. I finally fell asleep and slept until 9A. I woke up in a good mood but I didn't have much of an appetite. At about 11:40A after I ate lunch (which I wasn't really hungry for)I took a nap. I slept for 3 hours and woke up in a great mood. I played and played.
Grandma Sue came to play with me for a while and then I took a bath. After my bath she had to go home because she is still not feeling very good. At about 7:20P my Grandpa Bill "Boppa" came over. I got a horsey ride and everything. I also love to jump and stand on his tummy.
My brother are doing great! They are getting very big but I am still bigger. I still watch Elmo and have found something else that I like watch, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, sometime I choose this over Elmo.
I also like Winnie the Pooh. I don't have any movies with Pooh in them yet but I have a lot of books. I think Pooh is funny because he likes bees. Grandpa always tickles me when he sees a bee in a book. Pooh has a lot of bees :).
Mommy had her Gallbladder surgery and everything went fine. She was in pain for about 2 weeks and that whole time she couldn't lift me up. It was even hard for her to bend over to pick something or someone up. She is all better now. Mommy is still a little swollen but nothing like before. For the first week she look pregnant agian.
There is one bit of bad news...Mommy lost her job. It's been about 2 weeks but the bills are piling high. She got hired at an Assisted Living Home but that is on call only until they get more residents. Mommy is excited though because on the 21st of November (the day before we leave for Mayo) she has an Interview at Provell. Reception and Data Entry Manager. She is very excited.
Please keep our family in your prayers.
