Healing Scriptures John 4:47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. (Whole Chapter: John 4 In context: John 4:46-48) John 10:10 "The thief (satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." NOTE - Here we see the desired will of the Lord for every believer, that we experience abundant life. According to this verse He came for this very purpose. We also see clearly here that it is not God who afflicts us. John 10:25 Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, (Whole Chapter: John 10 In context: John 10:24-26) John 10:38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father." (Whole Chapter: John 10 In context: John 10:37-39) John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. (Whole Chapter: John 14 In context: John 14:10-12) Acts 3:16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see. Ac 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Acts 4:10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Acts 4:22 For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed. (Whole Chapter: Acts 4 In context: Acts 4:21-23) Acts 4:30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." (Whole Chapter: Acts 4 In context: Acts 4:29-31) Acts 5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. (Whole Chapter: Acts 5 In context: Acts 5:15-17) Acts 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. (Whole Chapter: Acts 8 In context: Acts 8:6-8) Acts 9:34 And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately. (Whole Chapter: Acts 9 In context: Acts 9:33-35) Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Whole Chapter: Acts 10 In context: Acts 10:37-39) Acts 14:9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, (Whole Chapter: Acts 14 In context: Acts 14:8-10) Acts 28:8 And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him. (Whole Chapter: Acts 28 In context: Acts 28:7-9) Acts 28:9 So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed. (Whole Chapter: Acts 28 In context: Acts 28:8-10) Acts 28:27 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them."'[28:27 Isaiah 6:9, 10] (Whole Chapter: Acts 28 In context: Acts 28:26-28) Romans 8:11 "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal (Natural, Earthly) bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." NOTE - Take a close look at this Scripture, this is talking about your body that you have now, not the one you're going to receive one day in heaven! Allow the Lord to impart His life into you by placing faith in His Word. Begin to praise Him for this promise. Romans 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us" NOTE - you are a winner, you are victorious through the Lord Jesus Christ. Begin to see yourself the way God sees you. Romans 8:32 "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" NOTE - Surely this includes healing!!! 1 Corinthians 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. (Whole Chapter: 1 Corinthians 12 In context: 1 Corinthians 12:27-29) 1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? (Whole Chapter: 1 Corinthians 12 In context: 1 Corinthians 12:28-30) 2 Corinthians 1:20 "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." NOTE - Notice that according to God all of His promises towards us are "YES" and amen (so be it!) or it is settled! 2 Corinthians 4:10-11 "Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus (which was for our victory), that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh." - Bodily Health!!! Hebrews 2:4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. (Whole Chapter: Hebrews 2 In context: Hebrews 2:3-5) Hebrews 12:13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. (Whole Chapter: Hebrews 12 In context: Hebrews 12:12-14) By the power of the Holy Spirit, God can meet the needs, whatever they may be, bringing healing, deliverance, provision, and blessings. "He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think." (Ephesians 3:20) Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6) 1Thessalonians 5:23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless [sound, complete and intact] unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." NOTE - It is very clear in this passage that healing is for the complete make-up of man, spiritual, mental, and physical. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him. (Nahum 1:7) James 5:14-15 "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:16 Confess your trespasses[5:16 NU-Text reads [Therefore confess your sins.] ] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (Whole Chapter: James 5 In context: James 5:15-17) 1 Peter 2:24 "Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-- by whose stripes you were healed." NOTE - Past tense "You were healed". Jesus paid it all for your total deliverance - spirit, soul and body! 2 Peter 1:3-4 "as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." NOTE - The past tense use of "has" given us all things that pertain to life!!! This was purchased for us at the cross. Notice the importance of the Word of God, your healing must be rooted steadfastly on the Word, not on what you see or how you feel. I John 4:4 ". . . . greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." I John 5:4 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." NOTE - As believer's we are given the right to overcome that which comes against us. We don't deny the problem exists, we deny the problem's right to stay!!! Faith in God is victory all of the time!!! I John 5:14-15 "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." NOTE - The Word of God is the will of God. If you see it in the Word of God then you can be assured that it is the will of God. The Lord is not trying to keep healing from you, He is trying to get it to you - Believe! 3 John 2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." Revelation 13:12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (Whole Chapter: Revelation 13 In context: Revelation 13:11-13) Revelation 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month.
