The cysts were not cancerous and they feel they will go away as she grows. Thank everyone who prayed for her healing and we pray God's blessings for each of you. UPDATE: 8-20-02 Kassidy seems to be doing fine. Praise the Lord!!! They removed several cysts from her head and shoulders. We have not heard from the biopsies yet but the doctor seemed to think they wouldn't be a real health hazard. Since she had surgery, she has learned to scoot, not crawl all over the place. They had her sitting in the floor and looked around and she was gone. She had gone into their bedroom and was in the process of emptying out all their drawers. She is a precious little thing, just smiles all the time at everyone. Thank you for your prayers. God bless ADDED: 8-15-02 We just got word last night that our precious little Granddaughter Kassidy Elaine Hargett was to have surgery at 6:30 this morning. She is just 11 months old. She was a preemie and had a very difficult birth. She still only weighs 18 pounds but is the sweetest little girl anyone can imagine. Shortly after her birth two growths showed up on her back. The doctors couldn't explain them but felt that they were benign and would eventually dissolve on their own. About a month ago these growths started showing up in other parts of her body including 3 on her head. This morning they removed the ones on her head and 1 on her shoulder. She appears to be Ok but they will be doing biopsies today to try to determine their source. Please add her to your prayer list. She lives in Greensboro, NC and our son is an ordained Baptist Minister there. Jack Young-home email address jyoung9813@aol.com
