Please Pray for Moriah From: Julie Mail to: yishpan@webtv.net I am reguesting prayer for my friend Cheryl and her family. She gave birth Dec.17 to a 4lb.baby girl named Moriah{God is my teacher}.The baby has serious defects and the doctor reports have been slim to none of her survival,however cheryl refused the doctors negative reports and much to the doctors surprise Moriah was able to go home. Today her lung collapsed and she is back at the hospital.Babies with her condition hardly ever survive. But we know God can heal all so I am requesting that the body of Christ come together and ask for God's miraculous heling power be manifested in Moriah's body!! She especially needs a new heart and her family needs to be lifted in prayer for strength and God's peace!! I praise Him and thank Him in Jesus name. Update on Moriah! Praise God! I am writing back to give you a praise report about Moriah. When she was at the hospital an x-ray was taken that revealed a collapsed lung, however as more x-rays were taken before sending her to another hospital the doctor {much to his amazement} could not find anything wrong with her "collapsed" lung. Praise God!!!! He just continues to manifest his healing power in her life. We are still requesting prayer for complete healing in her body and that God will be given all the praise and glory! We know that is only by Him and through Him that all things happen. We give you honor Father and humbly thank you for loving us!!!! UPDATE ON MORIAH APRIL 1, 2000 Thank you for continuing to keep her in prayer. Moriah continues to amaze the doctors. According to man she should not be alive. Her condition is Trisomy 18 and usually these babies don't even survive the pregnancy. She is in the hospital now becuse she had to have surgery for a bowel obstruction and they did not expect her to make it though the surgery BUT she did. Presently she is on life support and the family is surrounded with negativity even from the hospital chaplain. Still with all their "head knowledge' and expectations they cannot understand why she is still alive. Her mother is seeing things take place in her body for instance her ear is starting to grow and a twisted aorta has straightened 'itself' out. She had a collapsed lung but by the third x-ray they couldn't see any evidence of a problem. Her mother has stood on God's promises without wavering and requests that the body of Christ continue to lift this child to the Lord and ask for complete healing. She continues to praise God for what he is doing and refuses anyhing negative spoken over Moriah. For me to see this situation, it is like seeing the Hand of God on this child and has continued to increase my faith. Praise God, He truly is an AWESOME GOD!! UPDATE: APRIL 4, 2000 Praise God, Moriah's family has found favor with one of the doctors. Until now all they have tried to do is speak death over her. Now they have a doctor who has agreed to operate on her heart. They will be putting a band around one of the arteries that leads to her heart. It will stop some of the blood flow that is bulding up in her heart and in her body and causing her to have fluid. This doctor also talked to the insurance company and they have agreed to pay for the surgery AND the transfer to the other hospital which is over 100 miles away. This is truly a miracle and doors are being opened that no one thought was possible. Her mom has a lot of peace about it and is requesting that she be covered in prayer and that the surgeon's hand will be guided by the 'Head Physician' through this and praising God for what he is doing. We thank Him for His supernatural favor and watch in awe as the Hand and Power of God manifest in Moriah's life. We give Him ALL the glory. Yes Lord, Show Them What You Can Do!!! You Are Amazing and We Love You Lord. We call forth healing as Your Word Says Lord and we thank You for sacrificing Your Son that Your will be done, that by Your Stripes we ARE HEALED. Thank You Lord for loving us and giving your life that we might have life. MORIAH IS BEING MOVED. . . Moriah is suppose to be moved today to Virgina for consideration for surgery. Her surgeons name will be Dr. Irving Kron. Please be in great prayer for Moriah, her parents, and the Doctors as they make this decision. By all medical standards, Moriah, should not still be with us and this is a surgery that is never done on a child with Moriah's condition, but God is moving in her life. Please pray and I will update you when possible. NEW UPDATE 4-6 I don't know if you got my last e-mail or not but decided not to take any chances. First the pictures should be on their way. Second, Praise God PRAISE GOD!! they have decided to do open heart surgery on Moriah to fix the hole in her heart. This is unheard of in these children. God has been with her all the way and I know He is with her now. Cheryl was hoping they would do more than just a temporary fix. They will be doing the surgery tomorrow and she is requesting prayer for today and tomorrow especially. Can you believe it? I am really excited because her heart is the main problem. I didn't talk to Cheryl but her mother and she will be keeping me posted as I will You!! Oh Thank You Lord You are an awesome God We give You ALL the praise and Glory in Jesus Precious Name.
