Isn't she beautiful!.I am lifting Moriah up to the throne of God. I stand in agreement with you in prayer and by the promises and authority of the scriptures, in the name of JESUS, and by the same fire and glory of the Holy Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead. His will be done!In Jesus' name,Lisa
UPDATE: MONDAY, 7-10 Praise God, we have a 9lb. almost 1 oz. baby girl. Moriah's weight took a leap forward since our last prayer requests. Thank you all so much for your prayers. We know that the Lord hears them and He is being so Faithful to His children. Moriah has a new toy that she likes and is playing with, it is a Play Gym that she can look and kick at, or reach for and it moves and makes sound. Grandma bought it for her and she really likes it. God also answered my prayer request that I added in the last update. Thank You Lord, she now has figured out how to get her whole fist in her mouth. God is good, we ask for her finger and He gives her the whole hand. Love You Lord! Her feeds are now 2 hours on and 2 hours off, and the nurses said that she is almost up to what other kids her age are taking. She is truly a wonder and a surprise to many. Praise You Father! Her specific prayer requests for this week are for continued prayer for her G-Button, and continued prayer for complete wholeness and soundness. She continues to thrive on the Promises of God. Thank You all for your support and prayers from Cheryl, her family, and from myself. We love you all and God is being glorified by His body working and praying together. Unity in Him. UPDATE: TUESDAY, 7-11 I received this update from Cheryl today. Praise the Lord Moriah is at vent setting number 7 and now they have her eating for one hour on and four hours off, she has made it to the way the others are eating!!!!! Last night they worked on her feeding tube and it seemed to bother her some afterwards. She was kind of upset off and on. They will repeat the process again in a few day. Please pray that this will work to dry up the wound around the feeding tube, and also for her comfort and fast healing. She also told me that her stats are staying perfect as they are bringing the vent down. Thank you all for your continued prayers and love for our littlest sister in Christ, Moriah. Thank You Father In Heaven, We Love You Lord!
Mom holds Moriah first time since surgery.UPDATE: FRIDAY, 7-14 I received this update from Cheryl today. Praise God, we are all rejoicing! God has been so Faithful and they are finally talking about letting Moriah come home. Here's what Cheryl said....... I just got a call from the hospital and it was the social worker and she has asked for a meeting with Mike and myself for August 3 or 4 to go over the outcome of Moriah coming home, we are getting there! Praise be to the Lord God. You should see how much trouble I am having to type this, my hands and fingers are going every which way I, AM, HAPPY!!!!!!! YES, LORD YES, LORD. They will be talking with us about the goals of taking her off the vent at different time slots each day they will start out 30 min. in the morning then 30 mins, at night she will stay at that rate for one week. Then the Dr. will move it to 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour at night for 1 week and then 2 hours morning, then 2 hours in the evening for one week, then it moves to 3 hours in the morning, then 3 hours at night for one week then it goes to 4 hour morning, then 4 hours at night for one week. At this point if she is doing okay they will put the hours together and let her rest on vent at night for just a few hours. She needs to be able to pass this time so she can come home. It is getting so close. Praise be to My Lord and My Deliverer.
UPDATE: TUESDAY, 7-18 I talked to Cheryl this morning and she said Moriah's weight has stayed the same this week, it may be because they are getting her on the schedule of 4 hours off and 1 hour on of feeding. They have increased the amount from 70 cc. to 80 cc. so we need to make sure that we are continuing to bring this need before the Lord so her weight will continue to increase. Her vent has been turned to 6....Praise God only 2 more to go before they start to wean her off of the vent at different intervals to prepare her to go home. Please keep her covered as far as her respiratory system and lungs. The nurse said they got quite a bit of secretions out of her lungs today so I feel we really need to press in in prayer for this. God has brought her through so much, what a miracle. We thank you all for your prayers. Thank You Father, You are so Faithful, We Love You, Lord.
UPDATE: 7-22 I talked to Cheryl today and Praise God, Moriah's weigh has started to increase again. She is up to 9lbs. 3 oz. That little girl is just getting right up there. Please let's keep her covered, as this is a crucial testing period to get her off the vent and ready to go home. She needs to maintain her strength and growth. Cheryl also requested that we continue to pray for Moriah's jaw to be extended. Our prayer is that she will be able to eat on her own. We also continue to pray for complete wholeness in the Precious Name of Jesus. Amen She has learned a new trick which the nurse seemed to think she was pretty satisfied with doing. She has learned to pull the plug on her trach out so the alarms go off and then instant company comes. I love it! I hope it's not too much of a problem for the nurses, but I just love seeing her little personality develop. She definitely is social and likes having people around. I say she's just practicing her ministry of showing people what God has done. Oh Lord, We Thank You!!
UPDATE: TUESDAY, 7-25 I just received this update from Cheryl about Moriah. Also, we went to see her last night and we held her, prayed with her, and watched her get her bath, which she loved. She is looking beautiful these days and there is so much peace and joy around her. God is truly doing a marvelous work and a wonder in that child. It is amazing to me how much she has changed, and I just wanted to thank you all again for your prayers, as I know Cheryl and her family do also. We are all so grateful for the support of our brothers and sisters, God Bless You All. Thank You Father, We Love You! Good Morning, Well I spoke with the nurse this morning and she told me that Moriah had a peaceful night. She now down to 5 on her vent settings and the doctor increased her feeds to 85 cc. I was told that there was a volunteer in holding Moriah this morning, I asked if she was upset and she said no that they just wanted her to have some company this morning. Her stats are at 100% and she is holding her increase in her food down just fine. Praise God, we are getting close! We need to keep her lungs in prayer and that she will have an increase in strength to support herself at the time they start to take her off the vent and that she will continue to grow during the time she is off the vent. Praise God, Praise God!!!!!!! Well, I need to close for now I have to get my day started. Love and Prayers, Cheryl
