UPDATE: 6-6-08

Hello to everyone and am so very sorry it has been so long. Alot has been going on here.....

Tiara got her pump last week and is doing very well on it. We have had some high's but no low's which is good. She loves the fact she doesn't have to take shots anymore. She has been doing well in school and is looking forward to summer time. Her last day is June 13th.

Babywise we are counting the days until she arrives. The Dr. moved the date up to July 1st. because he says she already weighs about 6lbs. Because she well be taken out c-section we well be at the hospital at 6am on July 1st and she should be born between 7:30 and 8:00 am that morning. I had my baby shower last Saturday at our church and it was AWESOME. We got lots of cute clothes and a nice carseat/stroller combo. There are still some items we need but we know God well help us with what we need as the time arrives. I am very tired lately and have been resting alot. I well post more soon.

UPDATE: 3-24-08

Things here have been very scarey lately. A few weeks ago I went to the skin Dr. for a mole on my back and he removed it and we learned 3 days later that it was positive for skin cancer. It was so deep that we had no time to waist. This past Thurseday I went in and had surgrey done. They removed a large area around where the mole was off my back and also removed a limp node from under my right arm. We did a lot of praying before the surgrey because of baby and all. They did a ultra sound before and after and she is doing well. I am in lots of pain but doing way better today. Shawn has been such a awesome help and support and God is such a awesome God and kids have been doing well also. We should know the results of the limp node by early nest week.

We had to move Tiara's pump appointments up to the first week in April because of my surgrey and all that was going on. She is doing well and is spending a few days with my mom this weekend.

I wasn't going to comment on the one message in the guest book that was rude but I want to say one thing to that person. Shawna is a gift from God to us and we well love her like no other and we are not on welfare. Shawn and I are so very blessed to be having her and we love all of our kids.

UPDATE: 3-12-08

Tiara gets her new pump this coming up week and is very happy about this. She has been having a hard time lately with her blood sugar numbers and bad preteen emotions. But we well get through it with love and prays.

Baby Shawna is growing big in my belly. We went to the Dr. today and made it final that she well be born on July 11th. We had to change it from the 7th to the 11th because my Dr. wont be back from vaction until the 8th.

Kids are all doing well and getting ready for spring break. Basket ball and cheer leading season is now over and we start soccer season soon. Busy household.....

UPDATE: 1-17-08

So sorry it has been so long. A few weeks ago our computer hard drive crashed and so we have been with out a computer this whole time. We have someone working on it now but because we can't afford a new one it well take awhile to fix it. I am at our local library now updating and checking e-mails.

Tiara has been doing well. She loves cheerleading and is very happy to learn she is getting the insulin pump by mid Feb. She has waited so long for this.

RayLee jumped off the monkey bars at the park Sunday afternoon and broke her foot. It was a big break but a clean one. The bone dr. put her in a boot instead of a cast because she was so swollen and it was such a bad break. She has to stay off of it totally until atleast Tuesday when she goes back to the dr. She is so sad she hates missing any kind of school at all. Please keep her in your thoughts and prays.

We went to baby dr. last Thurseday and got pictures of her/him everything is doing great and she even waived both her hands at us. It was so very cute.

Shawn and I are doing very well and boys are doing good to. We are so busy with basketball season and cheerleading and church events that we hardly have time to enjoy eachother.

UPDATE: 11-08-07

SO VERY SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO GET BACK HERE. ALOT HAS BEEN HAPPENING AROUND OUR HOME AND IT IS ALL GOOD.

THE KIDS LOVED THE STARLIGHT EVENT AT THE HOTEL AND ALSO HAD A WONDERFUL HALLOWEEN AT OUR CHURCH.

BIG NEWS IS SHAWN AND I ARE EXPECTING A BABY IN JULY. WE ARE SO THRILLED ABOUT THIS. WE LEARNED YESTURDAY AND WANTED TO TELL MY MOM FIRST BEFORE COMING HERE AND TELLING THE WORLD. WE WELL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED AS TIME GOES ON.

UPDATE: 10-03-07

This is going to be a quick update. Shawn came home on Sunday. I prayed hard that he would come home and he did. He left because he thought he was bad for me and the kids,but he learned that this family only works with him as head of household. We love him lots and he loves us lots and we well be togther forever. We are chopping it up as a mid-life crises and moving on.

Since we moved so fast with our relationship I guess it kinda makes since to step out of the box for a brief moment and makesure this is the path you want to take. He did this and he shortly knew that being with his wife and kids is the path he wants to be on. God works in wierd ways this I know. Answered pray have happened in our household. Shawn told me that he has never loved anyone as much as he loves me and that he was so deeply sorry for all the hurt and heartach he caused me and his 4 kids. This has made us closer than ever.

Tiara is doing well sickness wise. RayLee and Teddy are counting the days until this coming Saturday for their combo birthday party. It well be a very fun family time for us all.

Tiara sickness wise is doing much better she only stayed one night this last time at the hospital. Since the boys have never had good memories about the holidays girls and I are going to do our very best to make the up coming holiday season as best as it can be.

Just stopping by to update you real quick. Tiara started throwing up last night and ended up in the ER and than the hospital across town. She wont be able to come home until she can keep food down. Please keep her in your thoughts and prays during this very hard time. The doctors are running test to find out what is going on. She has a high white cell count. Her blood sugars were running way low all day yesturday and last night and her keytones were only a small amount so at least we know there is more to her sickness than just running high blood sugars and keytones. Shawn and I are heading out the door now to stay with her.

Good Morning to everyone..........

I want to first off say a BIG THANK-YOU to Linsey whom sent the wonderful backpacks for all 4 of our kids and than another BIG THANK-YOU to Kathy for the AWESOME visa gift cards for the girls so I can get them some new school clothes. Thank-you to Lucel for faithfully writting to me and my family and always keeping us in your thoughts and prays.

This last Sunday our church had a wonderful wedding shower for us and they had a money tree. We were very blessed and so very grateful. We were able to buy a van that fits us all very safely. (we are so blessed to have found such a wonderful church family that cares so much for all of us) Tiara is doing will in school and enjoying being in the 6th grade this year. She has been in the hospital twice this past month for high blood sugars but in the past week she has been doing really good. Acutally staying in the 100's and 200's which for her is really good. She has been having some low bllod sugars so we maybe increasing carb. counting again soon.

All four kids are doing very will in school and have made so wonderful friends and Shawn and I love all their teachers. Teddy and RayLee will be sharing their birthday party day with eachother. We decided to do it this way so they both can have a big party. They are both counting the days until the big day..........

UPDATE: 8-30-07

Hello to everyone.........

These past two weeks seem to be flying bye so fast. Teddy broke his wrist in two places last week at boys and girls club. His cast is camoflauge and he loves that but hated the pain.

Girls are going to their dads for 4 days starting tomorrow until monday. The boys are going to their moms or Shhawns moms for the same amount of time, because Shawn and I are flying to Denver Col.to visit Shawns dad and step mom. We are so looking foward to this visit. I have been packed and ready to go for a few days now. Tonight I finish packing all four kiddos up than run them to different locations tomorrow. They are all four looking foward to starting school on Monday. All four start new schools so it well be interesting. RayLee will take it the hardest because she doesn't do change will. Tiara starts middle school and is loving the idea.

Thank-you so much to www.hugsandhope.org and www.makeachildsmile.org for helping us with school supplies. We were very blessed and all 4 kids have all they need school supplies wise to start school. THANK-YOU....

Health wise the last few weeks have been hard for Tiara. She was in the hospital for a few days for high keytones in her blood and she has been running boarderline going back to hospital a few days here and there these past few weeks. She was able to stay the night at a friends last night and had a wonderful time. Shawn and I are praying hard that she has no keytones this weekend with her dad and that both girls will be safe and taken care of. The weather here has been very nice the past couple of days. Last week we thought summer was over so we took the pool down and ofcourse once we did that the very next day it was high 70's and now it is in the 80's.

Stopping by real quick to let you all know that this past Sat. August 11th 2007 Shawn and I were married at our church. It was a very small nice wedding. We went for a couple of days on our honeymoon and now we are home and have the boys back from their grandparents. Girls are still with my mom and then tomorrow they go with their dad for the weekend. Please keep us in your thoughts and prays as we start our new life togther.

Tiara is doing well this week and is enjoying every minute of diabetes camp.

UPDATE: 5-23-07

So very sorry it has been so long since I updated here.

Things in our home have been going so very well. Shawn has taken over the role of being a wonderful father to Tiara and RayLee as I have taken over being a great mother to his 2 boys as will. The kids have been doing well with all the sudden changes going on. We have great days and not so great days but we are all doing good.

Tiara has had some very hard days lately. I believe she is going through the pre teen stage and also is dealing with issues from her bio. father *Ken* whom he has choosen not to contact the girls in 2 months now. Girls want nothing to do with him and fear him but I believe they still are dealing with the fact that he does not want them and has done nothing at all to see them. That has to be the hardest thing ever on kids. Tiara has been testing her boundres lately with both Shawn and I and it is so nice to finaly have a partner that supports me as a parent and we both work togther to raise all four of our kids as best as we can. Tiara is doing well in school and is looking forward to summer starting. I am hoping to beable to get her and her sister and maybe to the boys into a camp that my aunt and cousins work at this summer. I believe all four of them will have a blast.

As soon as my divorce is final Shawn and I will be getting married. We are both so very happy. Shawn and I have been taken the kids to a very nice church every Sunday and we all love it. We have also been trying to do things outside of the home as much as we can togther.

Shawn has been a huge blessing from God and I now know what true love is and means and I have found my solemate for life. As far as us moving right now we are waiting to hear from the new owner to see if she will sign a year lease. If not then we will be moving by the end of June to a new place.

I need to get going so I can take care of RayLee whom is home today with the crop cough stuff.

UPDATE: 3-14-07

hope everyone is doing well?

Girls and I are taking it one day at a time.

Tiara got her hot pink cast off and got x-rayed again and we learned that her wrist is healed but her elbow is not. She may have ruined the growth plate in her elbow along with torn legimints. She was put into a bright green cast this time and in two weeks she well get rechecked and we well learn then how bad the elbow truely is. But if the arm isn't bad enough for the past couple of weeks she has been complaining of her knee hurting. I put it off as growing pains because she wasn't complaining all the time. Well because it seemed to be getting worse I asked the Dr. if he could just take a look at it.

Well she has a cracked knee cap and torn tendinates behind her knee (sorry about spelling some of these medical terms) and she has alot of water / liquid on and around her knee area. The Dr. thinks she did it when she fell skating. So he said take her home and when she comes back in two weeks he well check it out then and see what the next step is. Part of the reason why he couldn't do anything that day was because her regular dr. needs to see her first for the problem and then refure her to the bone dr. so by two weeks her insurance well cover the bone dr. to see her. I well take her in sooner if I notice her in more pain or notice anything different about her knee.

Well I better say goodnight for now because I need to get girls ready for bedtime.

UPDATE: 3-5-07

So sorry it has taken awhile to update. Things have been crazy here. Girls have been working very hard on getting their science fair projects done by tomorrow. We finished them all up today.

Tiara ended up getting a full length bright pink cast on her right arm. This coming up Wednesday she gets it off and re x-rayed and then we well see what the next step is.

The new (older) car I got is a clutch and my RSD is in my left foot and leg well I was praying it would not hurt it but last night I was up all night in pain rocking back and fourth. I know it is me using it with the clutch but as of right now there is nothing I can do about it.

I want to take a second and thank Lu for all the wonderful cards and e-mails and for the AWESOME bracelet you sent me. Girls and I are so thankful you are in our lives. THANK-YOU also to Debra M. for everything you have ever done for us and also for checking in with me to make sure we are ok when I don't update regular. With the ways things have been going here the last e-mail from you meant alot. THANK-YOU.

UPDATE: 2-12-07

Well it turned out to be quit a day today. Tiara was invited to a friends birthday party at our local skating rink and RayLee and I went just for fun. Our thoughts were that we would end up in the ER before the day was out just because of RayLee's track record with broken bones.

Just a few minutes left before we were done Tiara took a very hard fall and off to the ER girls and I went. 5 hours later we learned that she broke her wrist and possible crack in her elbow. We well learn more about the elbow in 3 days when she goes in for her real cast and they x-ray her again. They had trouble trying to turn her arm to get the right picture of the elbow because she was in so much pain and also she had a seizure while we were there so they were concernd about her stress level. Since the Dr. could see the wrist was forsure broken and alot of swelling around her elbow they spilted the whole right arm.

So we got home about 1am and girls are sleeping now. Tiara well forsure stay home from school tomorrow. RayLee may go in late or just stay home also. Depending on how tired she is in the morning.

I well update more after we see the bone doctor in 3 days.

PLEASE KEEP TIARA IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYS. I hope and pray the pain goes down alot soon because it hurts her alot right now.

UPDATE: 1-18-07

First off I am so sorry it has been a few days since I last updated. It has been very crazy around here and I am often asking myself *How much more does GOD think I can handle*

First off we were SNOWED and ICED in for 5 days and finaly got out the other day for a quick run to get medications and milk and bread before it started getting cold again and freezing up. Second thing was the girls dad had a major surgry done last Thursday and ended up back in the hospital Monday night and is now home but has other issues brought on from the surgry and is not doing well right now. Which makes more work and stress for me but I can and well handle it.

Third thing that happened was I was on the way to take girls to school today for the first time since last Wednesday due to weather and holiday. After I droped them off my van breaks down. I barely got it to a shop to learn that my water pump froze soild and a major belt broke and the polly thing was broken and the bill for this well cost 464.89 after it gets fixed. I have no idea how I well pay for this since I only have like 3.00 to my name but some how some way it well get done. Because it was my only car I talked with school and girls well be out until Monday. I have no way to get them there.

Fourth thing that happened was with Chrons disease any amount of stress triggers the pain and throwing up and other problems so I have been very sick all day.

I just want to find a quit cornor and cry alot. I truely believed that this move was for the best of us and that it was such a HUGE blessing to be able to finaly have a *real* home and a nice yard and great location but ever since we set foot into this home I haven't seen the light. Because I had to pay for the moving truck and deposit and other bills half of my bills this month were unable to be paid. I am trying to get help for the very important ones like gas bill and such. Now with my van broke down all I can do is PRAY so much more harder.

I well be ok and well make it through this. I have to. My girls need me to be ok and I need me to be strong. Please keep us in your thoughts and prays as we are going down this very long hard road right now.

Tiara is doing well. She has a rash all over her body and was suppose to see the dr. today but because of the car praoblem I had to canceal that one. I well find a way to get her in if it gets worse or doesn't start to go away.

RayLee had a bit of a tummy bug the other night and because of the horrible weather we have been having she hasn't had her weekly allergie shot in almost 2 weeks so I am praying a mircale happens and my van gets fixed by Monday.

So sorry to bring you all such bad news but I wanted to share with you all. And also ask for prays and happy thoughts.

UPDATE: 12-21-06

Sorry it has taken me a few days to up date here. We have been dealing with alot.

RayLee has spots on her lungs and double ear infections in both ears and head to toe Exzema and a horrible seal bark type cough and stuffy nose. She has been on and off sleeping these past few days and been to the dr. once. Oh yes she has a bladder infection also.

Tiara has the start of ear infections and a seal bark type cough and yes very high blood sugar numbers and stuffy nose and just wanting to sleep also.

As for me since I learned I have Crohn's Disease food still well not stay down me. I only have one week left of the very strong steriods then I start the powerful drug called 6MP and have to see the dr. weekly for a long time. I am still very low in iron and very very weak and tired and I think my body is fighting off the bad chest cold the girls have because just these past 2 days I have been the most tired I think I have ever been in my whole life.

I haven't been sleeping well either. Mainly because my tummy hurts the most at night but also last friday I got a call from the church that was going to adopt us for Christmas with presents and food basket and sadly they could only help 3 famlies out of the 10 on the list so I have been asking everyone I know if possibly they could help us this year. It was way to late to sign up for help anywhere else trust me I asked around. I am praying hard and trying not to worry and stress to much. I well keep you posted as I hear more of what is going on.

This Saturday SANTA well be here (Thank-you to StarLight Starbright) he is the same wonderful SANTA that came last year and read a book to the girls and sang songs and brought them each a present. This guy is so close to the real one it is pretty cool. I am having 4 neighbor hood kids over as well because we live in a low income neighborhood and the kids around here well probaly never get to do something like this again. The SANTA well be bringing each child a gift with their name personalized on the present. Our friend Jordan H. well be able to make here too.

We are going to my moms tomorrow for the night. Because I have been so sick and weak she is baking goodies with the girls tomorrow and friday morning. I was unable to do any of that this year and girls really look forward to it so I asked her if we came there could she bake with the girls and that could be my christmas present. She was great about it. THANK-YOU MOM. She is making dinner for us and baking goodies and frosting cookies. Yes we well be able to bring some home plus girls like to leave one or two out for Santa.

I well update sometime Friday evening or Saturday to let you knwo we made it back home ok and to let you know how the baking went.

UPDATE: 10-21-06

The other day I went to Tiara's parent / teacher meeting and learned she is at the same range as her other classmates. This was very good news because since she got sick she has been very behind and now she is right on track. The new glasses she has are working GREAT.... Sickness wise she has been doing ok. Some seizures here and there but much less then before. Blood sugars are still on the high side but not as high. She and I and RayLee get our flu shots done on the 7th so that well help alot.

RayLee is doing very well in school. She reads at a 5th grade level and her parent / teacher meeting went very well also. Her teacher did ask her to check harder books out to read so she can challenge herself more. Other than the weekly allergie shots sickness wise she is doing well.

On Nov. 6th I am having a upper GI scope done. Where they put me to sleep and stick a scope down my throat to see inside my tummy and maybe hopefully find out what has been going on all this time. Since June 21st. I have lost a lot of weight. My highest weight was 298lbs and I now way 222lbs and went from a size 26 / 28 waist to a 20 / 22 waist. My mom was just here and she took me to Goodwill theft store to buy me some new pants because all of mine were way to big. THANK-YOU MOMMY...... My RSD is starting to act up again because it is starting to get colder and that makes my RSD grow faster and swell alot. I have a appointment for this on Monday the 23rd. My dr. still wants to put a implant in my lower spin but because I am still so week and unable to keep food down we well still have to put it on hold.

We have some fun upcoming events. On the 28th of this month we well be going to a hotel for Starlight Starbright Halloween Event. We well get to stay the night there and the girls well get to trick or treat the whole second floor of the hotel. They got outside businesses to adopt a hotel room and donate trick or treat stuff. It well be alot of fun and I well update when we get back.

UPDATE: 10-4-06

I was in the Hosiptial this last Sunday and dignosed with Vertigo. Also major tummy problems that I was hoping were going away. I see my regular dr. this afternoon and well post more later.

RayLee is doing well and can't wait for this coming Sunday which is her birthday and party. She was able to invite 10 but am hoping only 7 show. We well have it at our local city pool with cake and pizza.

Tiara has been doing well too. She went to a slumber party last weekend. She had a blast. Her eye glasses should be coming in soon which well help a great deal.

I better run am hoping my Dr. doesn't tell me more horrible news.

UPDATE: 9-20-06

Tiara has been telling me for the past year every once in awhile that her eyes were blurry or that it was hard to see certain things. This would come and go and ever since she was diagnosed with Diabities she has seen a eye Dr. but since he aways said she had perfect vision I always passed it off as nothing to concerning and moved on because she never complained two days in a row. Until school started this year and finally I called her eye Dr. yesturday and made her a appointment for 7:30 this morning and well guess what she needs glasses. Yes she was right a for a moment she was pretty darn proud of herself for being right and mommy wasn't right. So anyways she was fittied for some very cute rose colored glasses that well come to the office in 2 to 3 weeks and I have never ever seen any child so happy to be getting glasses as her.

So because her eyes were dialaded all day she missed school and since tomorrow is a short day and she has her diabities check up right smack in the middle of the day she well be missing tomorrow also but since I live there part time ( just a joke but sometimes I feel like I do) I already have all the work she well be missing and she has already started that today and worked her way through half of it already.

RayLee had her weekly allergie shot yesturday and they increased it some so it hurt a little but she didn't complain even though the nurse was waiting for her too but she just looked up at me and said *I feel sorry for Tiara that she has to get more than one of these a day* she was meaning the shots not the *allergie part*. I almost cried because it was sweet. She is doing very well in school and loves her teacher this year.

Well I better say goodnight for now and go put my little ANGEL'S to bed.

SHE IS GETTING VERY EXCITIED ABOUT THE UP COMING MAKE A WISH ICE-CREAM EVENT AT DOWN TOWN BREMERTON COLD STONE CREAMERY STORE. tHIS EVENT TAKES PLACE ON SEPT. 26TH SHE AND SISTER HAVE THEIR WHOLE OUTFITS FROM LAST YEAR'S EVENT. APRON, HAT, BADGE WITH THEIR OWN NAMES ON THEM AND MY BADGE WHICH SAYS *MOMMY TO MAKE A WISH CHILD AND SISTER* AND THE GIRLS HAVE THEIR OFFICAL COLD STONE CREAMERY T-SHIRTS THAT THE WHOLE CREW SIGNED LAST YEAR .

THE OWNER OF THE STORE CALLED ME YESTURDAY AND SAID THEY WELL GET NEW T-SHIRTS THIS YEAR BUT HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY STILL HAD THEIR GEAR OR HE WAS GOING TO ORDER MORE QUICK BUT SINCE I SAVED ALL THE GEAR HE DOESN'T HAVE TO ORDER ANYTHING. OK ON TO TIARA SHE HAS HAD A COUPLE OF SEIZURES THIS WEEK AND 5TH GRADE IS GETTING TO HER BUT SHE IS DOING A GREAT JOB STAYING ON TRACK AS BEST AS SHE CAN. SHE IS GETTING VERY EXCITIED ABOUT THE UP COMING MAKE A WISH ICE-CREAM EVENT AT DOWN TOWN BREMERTON COLD STONE CREAMERY STORE. tHIS EVENT TAKES PLACE ON SEPT. 26TH SHE AND SISTER HAVE THEIR WHOLE OUTFITS FROM LAST YEAR'S EVENT. APRON, HAT, BADGE WITH THEIR OWN NAMES ON THEM AND MY BADGE WHICH SAYS *MOMMY TO MAKE A WISH CHILD AND SISTER* AND THE GIRLS HAVE THEIR OFFICAL COLD STONE CREAMERY T-SHIRTS THAT THE WHOLE CREW SIGNED LAST YEAR AND THE OWNER OF THE STORE CALLED ME YESTURDAY AND SAID THEY WELL GET NEW T-SHIRTS THIS YEAR .

SHE IS DOING VERY WELL IN SCHOOL AND SHE DID COMPLAIN A LITTLE BIT ABOUT HER READING GROUP BEING TO EASY BUT THAT WAS BECAUSE THE FIRST WEEK THEY REVEIEW AS OF FRIDAY SHE SAID IT WAS GETTING BETTER SO I HOPE AND PRAY THAT TURNS OUT OK. WELL I BETTER LET YOU ALL GO AND GET SOME HOUSE WORK DONE.

UPDATE: 9-11-06

The girls are doing well and had a great first week back to school. They are getting ready for bed now. This year at their school they have this thing called *Jumping* where say a first grader that reads at a second grade level well be put in a second grade reading class. I believe RayLee maybe one to move up to a fourth grade reading class but I haven't had time to chat with her teacher yet so we well see. Tiara well stay in the lowest 5th grade reading group because I don't think they jump backwards, but if they do she well go to the same teacher she had last year which well be fine. I work with her nightly and she has master the beginner reading type books over the summer.

Tiara is still complaining that she can't see well so I am taking her on the 20th of this month to a new eye Dr. to see what he says the last one we saw was a very old guy and he was hard for even me to understand so I think Tiara just didn't feel comfortable with him or even understand him. I well let you all know what the new eye Dr. says. I know in my heart she well need glasses just by the way she sits way close to the TV or when she reads the book has to be almost touching her face and so on.

RayLee is starting the fall / winter Eczema breakout and so I am lotioning her down twice a day. She is counting the day till her birthday. She normally starts this early every year with count down and we go from her birthday to Halloween to Turkey day to Tiara's B-day to Christmas break to Christmas it self and then the last count down in winter is when they go back to school from winter break. Yes she loves to count down to whatever.

The theme for her birthday party well be *Under the Sea* and when we went to the Starlight Starbright slumber party a few weeks back the girls got a lot of blow up pool toys and a banner that says *Under the Sea Party Time* which was their theme as well. The blow up pool toys are mainly just different size balls and a couple of rings. I was going to look for more because it is the end of the season sales on that stuff but because of lack of money I am not even going to temp myself by looking. She is only inviting 5 friends plus her and Tiara.

I better get of her and get my PJ's on so girls can start reading to me. Then we all go to bed because school in the morning.

UPDATE: 9-1-06

Today was the girls first day of school and all went well. They love their teachers alot and were very happy to see all their friends. It was early out day today so they were done by 1:30 but tomorrow well be regular time and they well be out by 3:35.

I was able to help out a little bit this morning there but had to leave to go to the dr. with Tiara. She has a double ear infection which did not suprise us one bit.

Other then the ear infections Tiara seems to be doing ok. Her blood sugars are in the 200 which is good for her and seizure wise even though she has increased this past month or so she has not increased anymore so this is good. She has a EEG coming up towards the end of this month.

I live in low income housing and today they came out with a huge crew and did alot of landscaping. The blackberry bushes were taking over our back yard and we had a few trees that were looking pretty scarey and the crew took them all out. I was very sad they took down the wood fence we had up between the other homes. Even though it was old I liked the privisy it gave us. Now we can see all our neighbors all the time and they can see us as well. In the long run it well be nice to finally have a yard we can have fun with and start planting grass and flowers and other things.

Well I better get to bed it was a long day and tomorrow well be longer because I need to get everything ready for the big sale.

UPDATE: 8-28-06

It was sure a nice warm day today. Not many of them left because our RAINY season is just around the corner.

Tiara had a blast at camp and has been outside the past 3 days swimming in the kiddie pool the girls have. She finally got a semi tan and school starts next Thursday. I was able to put her outside in the pool during the hot times of the day because I attached their whale sprinkler to the hose and turned it upside down and on a hook so it showered over the pool with cold water which keep her body temp. down.

She has had a lot of seizures these past months so we now have a EEG coming up in early Sept. and her nerve Dr. would like to try medications again after she see's the results of the EEG. I really wanted it done before school started but since I was so sick I couldn't keep her up all night then drive an hour in the early morning and keep her awake the whole time to get the EEG done so we are going to do it in early Sept. and she well just miss one day of school.

We don't have anything planned for the next few days because we are starting to go to bed early and up early so we are ready for school. Next Wednesday evening is our back to school BBQ where the kids get to find out who their teachers are and even met them and see all their friends. Since I volunteer there almost daily I already knew whom my girls teachers are. RayLee is getting Mr. Wisenburg *Who was Tiara's 3rd grade teacher as well and I think he is just a awesome teacher* and Tiara well have Mrs. Tessier whom is a very hard 5th grade teacher which Tiara well need so she is as ready as she can be to go to middle school in the 6th grade. I know both teachers will do well with my girls.

This week Tiara is at Diabities day camp and well have a blast. Sizure wise last Thursday she had 3 small ones then Sat. at the hotel she had a grandmal. She seems to be doing good today. The GrandMals scare me to death because she has only had a few. I pray we are not increasing seizure activiy? She has a Dr. apt. on Sept. 7th so I well update more then.

RayLee is doing well. Yesturday she was out playing and feel and tore half her big toe nail off. She is wearing a lot of band aids today and a sock on that foot.

Tiara is doing wonderful. Only a couple of seizures in the past few weeks. She starts diabities camp on Monday and can hardly stand the weight.

Girls and I are going to a AWESOME Star Light event this Saturday night. It is like a big slumber party at a hotel and the theme is called *Under the Sea* the girls well have a blast. I well FORSURE give you lots of details when we get back. We even got our own hotel room for the event and girls are and have been bouncing off the walls with joy. We go Sat. morning and come home Sunday late afternoon.

UPDATE: 8-2-06

So sorry about the long awaited update. We have been very busy here.

Girls and I got back from my mom's last Thursday and then come Friday we were on the road again. I at the last minute decided to take the girls on a weekend camping trip. It turned out to be a blast and girls had so much fun. We got back Sunday night. Sickness wise Tiara had 1 seizures in the past few days but otherwise seems to be doing great. I thank God the weather here is perfect for her right now. Not to HOT....

As for me I am still unable to keep food down. I go on the 15th to get my tummy scooped and I well let you know if that comes up with anything. Because I am losing alot of weight very fast. *June 21st I was 276lbs. as of last week I weighed 243lbs and am still losing daily.* I am very cold all the time and not alot of energy either. I am not to worried about the weight loose yet because I had alot of extra weight that needed to come off of me.

Because we were gone last week RayLee didn't get her allergie shot so we well be going to get that done tomorrow. She had a hard time breathing while we were camping but it was expected since we learned she is allergic to just about everything in the woods. Otherwise she is doing well and is so READY for school to start back up.

I better get off hear and start getting caught up on my dirty clothes and such.

UPDATE: 7-19-06

Tiara is doing ok. But this week the heat wave is heading our way so I will need to get someone to help put the A/C unit back up into our window. We need to keep Tiara as cool as possible so she doesn't have as many seizures. Her last one was the 4th of July. We have BIG thank-yous to give to Angel Marni for the wonderful *cutie* rubber bracelets. Girls love them lots and Tiara didn't have any of those ones for her collection.

Also Big Thank-you's to Angel Cherie for the awesome very soft ankle socks for me. With my RSD in my left foot I am on the hunt for very soft seamless ankle socks. I have to have a sock on my left foot at all times to keep the breeze of even me walking sends unbearable shooting pains. All the ankle socks I had before my RSD were regular ones with pretty hard seams in the toe area. Cherie God Bless you for helping me go through out the day with just a little bit less pain then before. Also Girls Thank-you So Much For The Awesome Kid Bop 2 CD. Girls and I loved and love it....

Also Big huge thank-you to Juanita in Okl. City. Tiara was so thrilled back in May with the dolls you sent and she plays with them often. We were waiting to hear from you again so we could send a thank-you to you. Also the ROCK bracelet you just sent her she loves it a lot and plans to wear it to school.

HUGE THANK-YOU goes to our local Star-Light programe for basically giving my girls Christmas in July. Girls got to go shopping with them and they got a lot of stuff. Tiara got lots of Arts and Crafts items because she knew the hot weather was coming soon. Thank-you so much Star-Light and Erin.

Will I better get going. I need to go pick up mail from the PO box and get a little bit of food.

UPDATE: 7-05-06

I hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday today? Girls and I stayed home and am doing a few tonight but since Tiara is so highly allergic to the sulfur from the fireworks that we keep it as low key as possible.

Girls and I leave tomorrow to go housesit for 10 to possible 20 days so I may not be able to update during these times. I am putting mail on hold but will pick up a few times during our time away.

Health wise girls are doing ok. Tiara got her cast off and is enjoying swimming on not so hot days. RayLee has been dealing with her allergies ok. She gets weekly shots and takes daily pills.

As for me.... I have had a flu type bug for about 4 weeks now and since I am unable to keep any food down at all I am losing weight. I have been to the dr. and had blood work done and everything looks ok so far. Not sure what is going on but am going to keep close contacts with my dr. Since Iam say a *winnie the pooh* size I can afford to lose a few pounds and not worry to much at this time.

Will other then the hot early start summer we have had not much else going on.

If I don't update while we are gone I will forsure when we get home.

UPDATE: 6-27-06

Wow I am so very sorry for the delay in an update for so long.

I got this horrible flu bug last Thursday morning. It hit me as I was taking girls to school on the last day. I was even dressed in my new T-shirt that the school district handed out to prompt *START SMART* which means we are starting school for the first time ever in our district history before Labor Day. Anyway I started feeling really bad really fast so I got the girls out of my car and I drove back home and thru up basically until Friday night late. I sleep Saturday and most of Sunday away. I was on the couch while girls played with bratz and games and other things. Since we are having a heatwave here the girls preferred to be indoors anyway, so it all worked out OK.

I am still very weak and I have not eaten more then crackers and ice water since Wednesday night. Even today my tummy hurts and I am still very weak.

Tiara last Wednesday evening sprained her ankle badly. She did it right after school and so off to urgent care we went and basically 3 hours later we learned that it could be possible a hair line fracture on the ankle bone ball area. All the dr. said was it didn't look right to him so he put her in a two sided metal brace thing and said he would send it to the radiologist dr. whom well look it over and get back to us. Well, Friday we finally heard that it was only a sever sprain. This was good news because otherwise Tiara would have spent her 10 year old summer in 2 casts.

Thank-you Angel Marni for the wonderful tubes with all the things the girls need to make a beaded necklace. Thank-you Angel Cindy for all the wonderful cards you are sending while you are on vacation in Hawaii. Thank-you to Angel Cherie for everything you have sent the girls. Thank-you to Angel Marci for your love and support and kindness. Thank-you to all of you for caring so much for us and for loving us the way you do. WE LOVE YOU ALL BUNCHES.... UPDATE: 6-17-06

Sorry for the late update. It is very busy this time of year with only 4 days left of school it seems like the kids at school have checked out for the summer. As a volunteer coordantor one of the many things I do is help with moving all the kids files up a year and in the new teacher files. I also am running lots of earns during the day because the teachers are throwing partys and such and need either party food or items or other things. I don't mind doing this job because they all pay me to do these things which so helps right now for gas and such.

Next week well be extremely busy so I thought I would update tonight and then I might not be able to update until next Friday unless something major happens to the girls or I.

Tiara is doing ok with her wrist. All her friends signed her cast and let me just say that you can't find anymore room on it to sign your name. Last week I noticed she was having these rage type moments or breakdowns and this past weekend she had more then ever. I also noticed she would be very tired afterwards and seemed to not remember what had happened during one including me taking special things away from her. I placed a call in to her Nerve Dr. and she thinks and would even bet money on it that Tiara is now having yet another type of seizures.

I forgot the actual name of the type but the signs are short rages and full blowen temper tantrums and memory loss and very tired once it was over. Tiara hit ever sign to a T and the Dr. said she still wants another video EEG and regular EEG done on her but would like to wait until cast is of only because for both test it well be hard enough to deal with all the wires on her the cast may get in the way or something . So on Monday the Dr. well be calling me with dates of both tests and it well be at least 5 weeks away. I asked the Dr. in the mean time should we start daily medications again and she said no not at this time because with most of the medications she has been on the side effects are sometimes worse then a sseizure. I still keep the Diastat on me at all times incase she has a big one I can inject a one time shot .

I was asked today if I wanted to watch the principals home this summer from July 6th to either July 16th or 26th and of course I jumped on that one. Not only because we badly need the money but also because it well be like our summer vacation since gas is so high now and because I am behind in a lot of bills and child support has been behind for awhile this maybe our only summer vacation besides Tiara's diabetes camp in August . Also I was approved for both girls to go to one of the many fun week long camps. They are day camps only and RayLee well be for sure doing either soccer camp or the all star camp which means they do baseball and soccer and tag foot ball and so on.

Tiara is having a hard time choosing between a art camp or the new one this year called kid zone fun. This one they get to do some ice skating *which Tiara loves* and day at the zoo and picnic in a park in another city and horse back riding and one or two other things. I don't mind which one she picks but would honestly rest easier if she picked the art one so I don't have to walk on pins and needles all week wondering and stressing about her and her arm since that camp does a lot of activates that would be to hard to do with one arm and so on.

As far as my foot goes I had to go to urgent care yesterday because the infection between my two toes is back and also I have a bad infection on my left lower calf area on my leg. The dr. I saw thought it was related to the RSD in that same foot / ankle. Also the tint color of blue that was on my toes in the start and was sort of replaced with a lighter color red has now gone back to blue but it has spread to a larger area and the blue color now is much more darker then before. The swelling is starting up again. We believe this is happening again so soon because I haven't had a pain block in my back in 3 weeks. He wanted me to take a month long break so the medication can finally catch up I guess. I am just taking it one day at a time.

I also would like to say THANK-YOU so much to Cherie in FL. For all the wonderful things you have sent the girls. The summer out fits were so cute and fit so nice. You along with Angel Marni and Angel Cindy and other Angels are such a HUGE blessing to us. We well be forever grateful to all even the ones that pray because I know pray helps a lot. I hope to one day be able to PAY IT FORWARD meaning I hope to some day be at a secure place in my life to be able to help another family as we have be blessed.

UPDATE: 6-8-06

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE……………………..

It has been a busy last couple of days. Starting with Tiara. On Monday at school Tiara fell in the field and hit her wrist pretty hard. She went to the office and talked with the nurse and got a ice pack and then went back to class. Monday night she complained a little about her wrist and I looked at it a few times but didn't see any signs of something major. There was some swelling but nothing to bad. On Tuesday she came home early because she had a bad upset tummy and diarrhea and she sleep most of Tuesday away. This morning she had a diabetes appointment and while we were there the Dr. asked if she had any pain today and Tiara said her wrist hurt so the Dr. looked it over and said we should go to our family Dr. and get a x-ray. So off we went to our family Dr. whom x-rayed it and found out that Tiara had a buckle break in her wrist. *at that moment I cried because I should have taken her in sooner and I felt mass guilty* The Dr. said it has happened before and that she would have been in a split until today anyways to let the swelling get down. So after I wiped my tears away and he wrote up some medication we headed out to another Dr. whom put the cast on. She picked the color Bright Pink (Of course) She well be in the cast for the next 6 weeks. Which means she well have it for most of the summer. This is ok since she is indoors during hot days anyways. We well wrap it good if she wants to swim or play near water this summer. The cast is a half arm cast so it well be easier then when RayLee had her full arm cast. It is her left wrist so she can still write and such.

I feel horrible that this happened to her. Also her A1C count for her blood sugars was a 10.7 which only came down one point since the last time we were there. A1C is the over all level of blood sugars rounded out from the last three months. Everything was changed today which kind of means we go back to day one. Her carb count went from 1 unit of insulin to 10 cards which made it easy on everyone to count out all the carbs. Now it is 1 unit of insulin to 8 carbs. Her long lasting insulin that she takes in the morning and evening went up from 18 units of insulin to 20 units and for morning it went up from 23 units of insulin to 25 units of insulin. We are hoping and praying we can bring her blood sugar levels down soon.

RayLee had a wonderful time on her field trip yesterday and was so tired she stayed home today and was thinking she could sleep most of the day but that didn't happen because we went to 3 different doctors today and by the time we were down with everything it was almost 5pm when we got home. Tomorrow is her big field trip to see the Mariners play baseball. She got her first allergy shot last Wednesday and we learned that she is very sensitive and very allergic to a lot of things. When she was given the shot she swelled up where the shot was given really badly and it went from her upper arm down to her wrist. It was puffy and red for about 4 days and then she well go back Friday for another one..

As for me I am tired a lot but I think that is from all the medications I am on. We are working to find a even ground. By doing this the doctor ups my meds monthly and adds others if some are not working. My foot/ankle is sill extremely painful and blue colored and some swelling but not much.. I am learning to work around it. Also am learning to take it slow and put it up more.

Well sorry this turned out to be a book. I wanted to write what has happened to Tiara as soon as I could so that the prays keep coming. Thank-you to everyone that cares about my girls. We are so blessed to have such wonderful caring people as all of you.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE……. I am so very sorry for the late update. Things have been busy here.

Friday was the schools volunteer tea / social and I put this on almost by my self. It went well just a lot of work on my part but an the end it turned out well.

The school gave me a wonderful bunch of lovely flowers for being their volunteer coordinator. The principal also gave a very nice speech about how grateful and blessed the school is to have me. I started crying at that point.

The choir sang three songs and they sounded very nice. Tiara is in the choir and it brought happy and proud tears to my eyes to see her sing.

Thanks to a WONDERFUL Angel girls and I went to see Over the Hedge on Saturday. Thank-you so much. It was a wonderful movie and we all three enjoyed it so much. It has been a long time since we went to the movies and I was shocked to find out that it cost $6.50 for adult and $5.50 for child at the cheep times of the day. I was shocked big time at how much the price had gone up.

RayLee has 2 field trips this week. Tomorrow she goes to down town Seattle to the Aquarium and then Thursday they go to Safeco Field to see the Mariners play baseball.

Friday is the school dance and it is Hawaii theme so I went to Good Will second hand store today and got the girls Hawaiian shirts for .99and got Tiara a cute wrap around skirt/short for $1.30 and RayLee got 3 pairs of boy shorts for 1.00 each and one was blue with white flowers on it and it looks Hawaiian.

Girls last day of school well be June 22nd and then first day back to school well be August 30th. Yes this is the first year ever that Bremerton schools go back before Labor day weekend. I know we well have some mad parents but we well keep smiling and keep explaining that this is how it happened this year.

I need to hop of f of here and get to bed. I am very tired and I need to get up early tomorrow morning to pack RayLee a lunch and make sure she has everything she needs.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE.........

So sorry it has been a few days since I updated. It seems that lately there just doesn't seem like enough hours in the day to get it all done. *Or my list of things to get down in the day is getting longer?*

My birthday was this last friday and it was nice. The day before at school every child that past by my desk wished me happy birthday that meant alot to me. Girls made me their favorite desserts(a bucket of dirt with worms in it) It is chocolate pudding with gummy worms on top) I don't like chocolate pudding so they make mine with vanilla pudding and call it worms in the snow. They also made me nice homemade cards and they made Angel Marni some too and we well mail them out on Tuesday. My mom sent them money to buy me something. They wanted to get me the new Disney high school musical dvd and cd but didn't have enough money so I took them to the dollar store on the way to house sitting and they were able to get me a nice candle and some lotion and some scrape booking things and they also were able to get them selfs something too.

That is the cool part about the dollar store everyone gets something almost everytime we go there. Girls also wanted to take me to see the movie OVER THE HEDGE but with todays gas prices rising and lack of any extra money at all I had to tell them that at this time we just couldn't go see it but maybe sometime by the end of summer break we well be able to go to the movies. Girls and I love the adds for that movie and it does look real cute. Also Angel Marni sent me a wonderful book for single / solo moms and I love it alot.. Thank-you so much. It was a wondeful birthday and thank-you for the birthday wish's via guest book and phone and mail.

Friday we went to house set for the weekend for the school princpal. We are still at his home tonight and well be heading back to our home sometime in the morning. I enjoy house sitting because it is like a mini vaction for us. He lives about 30 minutes from our home so when we come here we normally stay here until his family comes home from their trip. Plus we can't afford any animals right now and girls want a kitty or puppy really bad so when we come here they get their animal fix for awhile.

I can't believe there is only like 24 days left of school then Tiara well be in the fifth grade and RayLee well be in the third grade. Wow how fast time goes bye. The last day of school is June 22nd and then the first day of school well be August 30th which is the first time EVER Bremerton schools well start before Labor day weekend.

Tiara is going through another growing stage. She is really slimming down and getting taller. I well need to buy both girls some summer clothes because nothing fits from last year. I well look at yard sales and stuff and ask around to those who may know someone that has out growen some summer clothes. First thing I need to get forsure is swim suits so they can swim this summer. I beleive Debra sent the nice ones last year and they actually wore them so much the butt of both wore out... :) We were going to have big plans this summer but with gas so high and no extra money since child support is like 2 months behind now we can't afford to go far. I know we well be house sitting for 2 weeks in July and they have a pool in their neighborhood so that well be nice and then both girls have camps this summer too. With Tiara so sensitive of the heat I feel better not traveling far from home anyways.

Girls are doing good except Tiara is still running high blood sugars and still saying her ear infection hurts.

RayLee has runny nose and ichy red eyes and other allergy signs because we stopped the new allergy medications and well start this coming Wednesday with the Allergy Shots. The dr. went over her test results and said she has pretty sever allergies to alot of things and he things the shots would help her way more then the pills. He also said it may help her excema sikn disorder too. Other then that she is doing well. I better get going here. It is pretty late and I want to make sure the house looks good before I finally go to sleep.

The new pictures on Tiara's sight were taken by Linn last weekend at her home. It was her daughter Ariel's birthday party. Thank-you so much Linn for keeping Tiara's sight so pretty and also for the awesome pictures of Tiara and also for just being a great friend. Thank-you so much for caring for us. We care for you and your whole family too.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE…….

Wow I can't believe summer is almost here. There is only 24 school days left until summer break. This coming weekend we well be house sitting for the principle again. It is a 4 day weekend and he and his family well be going to Calf. Because his father just passed away. Girls and I had no plans this weekend so it worked out well for all. My birthday is this Friday and so is Angel Marni's. I well be the big 35.

Tiara had a awesome time this past weekend at Linn's house and at the zoo on Saturday. Thank-you so much Linn for taking care of Tiara's sight and also for adding the wonderful new pictures. Tiara says she had a blast.

Tiara has been running high blood sugar numbers again. The nurse called from school today and said Tiara says her lower back hurts and so does her hip / thigh area and her blood sugar was 567. So I took her to the dr. who said keep an eye on her for a few days and that it is probably just growing pains.

RayLee's big toe still hurts pretty bad but she was able to hold her pain in until she got home from school because she missed all last week and this is a child that hates to miss one minute of school. She has a dr. appointment on Thursday to recheck it. Tomorrow she see's her allergy dr. to try another allergy medicine because the kind he has her on now just isn't working.

I had my pain block on Friday and he did a totally different pain block this time. Using 3 needles at one time as I laid on the table tummy side down. I called him on Saturday and again today because my spine and right leg have very painful sharp pains running up and down and burning pains as well. He told me this would go on for about 2 weeks maybe longer. He also said that I don't feel it in the left side because of the permanent nerve damage. I saw our family dr. today as well. I have a very sore throat and sinuses blockage. No strep throat though so that was good. He didn't add any medication at this time because he hopes my body well work it through.

This week well go by fast since no school on Friday. The rain has returned to Washington and the girls are not happy. They were liking the sun shine with not real hot days so Tiara got to play out side on those days. Well I need to go make dinner and put my foot up.

THANK-YOU Linn so much for adding the pictures of Tiara taken Saturday at the zoo. Also for caring for Tiara Friday night and Saturday at the zoo. It is nice to finally have more recent pictures up. I am sure there well be a lot of happy people to see recent ones of her too.

UPDATE: 5-16-06

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE……….

I hope everyone had a nice Mothers day? Mine was nice. Girls and I spent Saturday night with my Mom and Step Dad and then went to breakfast with them Sunday morning. Girls and I left in the early afternoon to head home.

Well the STRESS storms keep hitting us and this latest one was a real big surprise. RayLee has been complaining once in awhile that her Big Toe on her left foot has been hurting her. She said she pulled a hang nail out a few days ago, and basically mentioned it hurt once in awhile until yesterday when she said it REALLY hurts badly. I noticed it was starting to swell and looked red which means infection. I made an appointment for her today at 11 am this morning and learned that it was REALLY BAD. She had a ingrown toenail that had grown inward to almost half her big toe size. Our Dr. numbed it up really good and then sliced open her toe and pulled it out and drained the infection and then wrapped it up and told her to stay off of it for at least 2 days.

*If you knew RayLee the hardest part of the whole morning was hearing she would be missing school* So as I was driving her home and she has really big tears coming down her face I called the Dr. back and asked him if she promised to spend out door time indoors and no PE and she would go home if it starts to hurt real bad could she PLEASE go back to school tomorrow? He said ok knowing RayLee would beg until she got to go to school. She doesn't care about PE or out door play as much as she cares about missing actual learning time. (Keep in mind she is doing all of this while toe is still numb our Dr. said he thinks she well feel differently when the numbing med. Wears off.)

Our Dr. said he see's this a lot in adults and deals with them a lot but has only seen one or two kids with it so bad so he thinks she may have a toe nail problem forever and that if this happens again when the new nail grows in then he well do a surgery where he well reshape the toe in some way and this well allow the nail to grow upwards instead of down wards and into the skin and such. I well continue to keep you all posted about her.

Tiara has her big field trip tomorrow where her class well be taking the ferry to down town Seattle and then walking around down there. She has to be at school real early so we well be going to bed very early tonight.

This coming Friday Tiara well be spending the night at Ariel's home (Daniel in Washington's Sister) It is Ariels 12th birthday so she invited Tiara and RayLee to a slumber party and Zoo on Saturday but RayLee does not stay at anyone's house without me and now with her toe she would have a problem walking all day at the Zoo. Before her foot problem I had already told Linn not to count on RayLee going just because she hasn't been doing well with her allergies and she has been extra tired. Since I found out today that she has had a pretty bad infection going on in her toe that would explain the increase in tiredness lately. Well I need to get off here and make dinner for the girls. * tonight is BLT night with fresh cut up fruit* I well let you know how the toe is and also how Tiara's field trip goes.

PS….. My foot / ankle is slowly getting less shooting pain and more burning pain which is better in some ways. I had my 6th pain block injection last Friday and all went well I have my next one this coming Friday.

UPDATE: 5-2-06

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE…………

Things here are getting better day by day. My pain in my foot is still very high but am learning different ways to deal with it and am learning different things that make it feel better if even for a short time. (Marni the foot bath you sent has become my new best friend) Although putting my foot in any kind of water gives me sharp pains with the foot bath I am able to use it during my better times through the day and by using it I am able to build up my tolerance. I going weekly for pain block shots and I see the pain medicine dr. twice a month for adjusting and refills and even adding new medicines at times.

Tomorrow is the LAST day for Tiara's WASL testing and then she can get back to doing things she loves like computer time and other things. I keep her away from video games and computer and such for the past 2 weeks because those things increase her seizures. She only had 3 during the WASL testing time which is good considering all the stress that comes along with the test. She has a head cold now and I have noticed a lot of kids having the same cold because last week we had really nice almost 70 degree days and the BAM come Saturday rain and wind and cold returns so this increases head colds. During one of the warm days last week she did have a seizure and I think it was brought on by heat and not stress or maybe both. This summer well be hard because she isn't on any seizure medicines right now and she tends to have more seizures in the heat.

I am trying to work out a summer plan of some kind. I have a few arts and crafts stuff left over from last summer and she has lots of books to read. We really want to go camping and to the lake this summer so am planning those trips during the not so hot times. The lake trip is pretty much free because my grandparents own a cabin on the lake and so I just pay for gas to get there and then our food.

Camping wise my friend from school and her two kids and me and my girls well be going somewhere close and she is going to pay for the camp site I just have to worry about gas and food for the 3 of us. Girls also do reading camp for 3 weeks and then RayLee got a free pass to sports camp and also swim camp this summer and then Tiara goes to her diabetes camp. I was hoping and praying I would be able to afford to go to Montana to see my Grandpa and visit my Grandma's grave sight but with gas prices going up fast and the fear of traveling with the girls for so long I think I may not be going this summer.

RayLee is doing well. She has allergy testing this week and she started counseling last week and loves her counselor and is looking forward to seeing her again this week. Thank-you to Angel Marni for the wonderful footbath and for the girls watches. *they call them their BLING BLING watches. We love you ALWAYS.

Also Thank-you to Angel Cindy for the wonderful cards you keep sending. We love each one of them. Also thank-you so much for buying us the food in the past and for caring so much about us. We love you ALWAYS.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE…………………

Girls are home today because it is a half day at school and RayLee has her first counsoling apointment and Tiara has been doing the WASL test all week and they were just doing a goof off relax day today so I just kept her home.

I had another pain block shot on Monday and had a horrible time with a very mean nurse. My dr. did a different kind of block shot which I laid on my stomach and as he put the needle in my spine the x-ray guy would take x-rays as the needle was going in me. The shot was suppose to numb my whole left leg that way we would have something that would have given me more days without pain, but we learned that I have permint nerve damage because the shot did nothing for me. So we well go back to just the pain med. Shots and pain pills and PT. This well be my pain for the rest of my life. I well have some good days in time.

Tiara has been doing really well with her WASL testing and we work hard daily making less stress for her as possible. More stress means higher blood sugars and increase in seizures.

RayLee saw her allergy dr. yesterday and on Wednesday the 10th of May she well go in for allergy testing so we can learn what she is truly allergic to and hopefully knowing what to stay away from well help her and her skin and her allergy sysmtoms.

I want to say THANK-YOU to Angel Marni for the wonderful footbath and for loving us and caring so much for us. We love you lots. Also THANK-YOU to our Angel Cindy for the wonderful cards that keep coming. We love them so much. Please tell Joe girls say hi and thank-you too.

Tiara got a awesome build a bear in the mail yesterday from Valerie and WOW that put a huge smile on Tiara's face. She is so happy and it couldn't have come at a better time. THANK-YOU…. Well I need to get my day going. I am going to take girls to the park for a picnic lunch after RayLee's apt. today.

PS….. I got a letter in the mail yesterday from housing saying I have an appointment on May 17th to get my section 8 form. This means girls and I can move anywhere in the US. We get to live in the normal world and not low income housing. My rent well be reduced according to my income. So once I get the form we well have two months to find a home. I am very pleased about this and please pray that we can find a good home.

UPDATE: 4-24-06

I learned yesturday thet it was the head gasget that blew and that cost alot of money. But I am blessed to have a nice car lot that well be helping me. First they well be replacing this part and only charging me for the part it self which is still like 400.00 but what they are going to do is add it to what I owe so I don't have to come up with the money right away. They are not charging me with labor which is a huge blessing but they well be taking their time on it and I should get it back by next Sat. in the mean time they loaned me a 1990 ford wagon car and it runs so we are very blessed.

Since Thursday was my worse day in a very long time and I probably spent 95% of it crying I decieded to keep girls home from school yesturday (which I have NEVER done before and also check with their teachers and got the ok) Any ways we all cleaned out their rooms. It is so amazing how the girls are so different. RayLee's stuff was a breeze to put in her new room Tiara on the other hand had her stuff laying around every where in my home so we are still puting things away.

Both girls got rid of alot of things so because I deeply need some money right now for some bills I am going to have a carport sale next Sat. am hoping to make enough to cover the 3 bills I have left.

Also I did get something in the mail today that was pretty cool. My name came up on seaction 8 housing (like hud housing) I meet with my caseworker on May 17th and then we go over all the paper work and I well then say yes or no to take it. Right now there aren't many section 8 homes in kitsap county. I well keep you all posted on this one. I am up this late because I used my foot to much the last 2 days and am now in VERY BAD PAIN. So I thought since house was so quiet I would up date now.

My mom comes tonight(Sunday) to stay a night or two to help me with my home and to take me Monday morning to get 2 block shots one for each major nerve in bot my legs. So mommy well be here to care for me and the girls.

I better get going and try to go back to sleep for awhile.

UPDATE: 4-21-06

I have said this before and well say it one more time. I am wondering how much God thinks I might be able to handle?

I woke this morning and started up my car and watched tonz of white smoke come out of it. I had to drive the girls to school and then myself to PT. and while driving this smoke bomb through town I noticed my water temp. going way past the H. Knowing this is not good I took it to the guy I bought it from and learned I possibly blew the head gasget. He has it over night and I am praying hard that I (we) caught it before it totally blew. I well learn tomorrow what is up. He nicely loaned me a 1990 ford wagon which has brought smiles to me and the girls because it is pretty banged up and we joke about which part well fall off this time.....

I also learned today that I had a problem with the bank but this may be fixed. A lot of it had to do with AOL pulling 2 months worth of payments out of my account when I pay monthly and plus the pulled the full amount when I get a discount. So since I am a single mom on a very fixed income and EVERY penny counts I had problems with bounced checks and so on. I fixed the AOL problem but they would not pay the bounced check fees so I am still out some money and have no idea where this well come from.

I also did PT today on my foot and it was one of the more intense pain wise and I cried alot. But crying was something I did alot of today anyways. The car problem well be able to be fixed and if it is alot to fix it the guy said he well just extend my monthly payments so I don't have to come up with the money at once. I well contact the checks that bounced and find out what I can do.

Sickness wise we are doing well. RayLee is doing better and her Allergy testing well be next Tuesday. Tiara has been very tired this week because of WASL testing so she has been coming home and napping. She says she thinks she is doing well which is good because I have been so concerned about her stressing over this. Stress brings on high blood sugar counts and seizures so am glad she hasn't stressed to much.

My foot still has lots of pain but PT is helping some. I am able to move my toes now which I haven't been able to do for like 2 months now. I go Monday morning to the hospital for another pain block injection. The dr. well do a pain block injection on both sides because my right foot is showing early signs of RSD and we want to stay infront of it.

Well this is my life at this time and I know I well make it through yet another storm. I keep telling myself that at least my girls and I are safe and not in a domistic violence house hold. Yes my bills were paid when he was in the house hold but living with fear of him and fear for my kids and so on was destroying me fast so now the concern of the bills and such are better then the fear of my life or my girls not beinging happy. I am just a single mom trying to raise two wonderful girls through some very tough times. I well make it and we well come through this storm stronger then before and closer too. We have love and a safe home and people that support us and love us and PRAY hard for us. We well be fine.

So sorry to vent like this and write you a book but today has been one of my hardest days yet. I well be ok and God is watching over us. Thank-you everyone for caring so much for Tiara and us it truely means the world to us.

UPDATE: 4-18-06

I Hope and Pray everyone had a wonderful Easter. Girls and I had a quiet morning then my friend for many years came over with her 2 kids and then we went to my dad and step moms for dinner. ( which did not go well at all and well any hope I had left of having my father back or girls getting their grandpa back went out the window last night. They move May 1st. for Az. forever and well I think dinner and the whole night could have gone a lot better since it was our last dinner togther.)

As far as my foot goes. The swelling is going down some it is still a blue shade but pain wise that too seems a bit better. My mornings still bring lots of tears and so does evenings but I seem to have a little bit more time during the day with less pain. I go to PT 5 days a week and I see my pain dr. tomorrow morning and also Thurseday for another pain block shot.

RayLee is home today she has a horrible sore throat and I well be taking her to the dr. at 2:00 pm today. Tiara is at school and doing her fist day of 3 weeks of WASL testing. Please send prays her way that she does good and DOES NOT STRESS on the test because that well bring on big time seizures.

UPDATE: 4-13-06

Ok I hope everyone is having a good evening.....

I went to see 2 doctors today and have a plan now. I well not be going to the U of Washington for the 4 week RSD program because we learned today that they don't have the program any more but a hospital in Spokane does. We are going to try very hard to get a hold on this in town. I start therapy on Monday and go 5 days a week working slowly up to an hour a day but starting very light since any touch or eveb breeze sends shooting pains up my leg. I well also be staying with my pain dr. whom well give me my second pain block shot tomorrow and we well continue the block shots and pain meds. for a while.

If we cannot control this or it gets worse I well then go to the hospital in Spokane this summer and my girls can saty with my brother and sister since they both leave there. I well have this the rest of my life and sometime soon I hope and pray I well have it some what under control. One of the bad things about RSD is that you can have lots of good days or even months and sometimes years but wham out of no where you are back to the start of your treatment plan.

I was given a handicapp sign for my car and I am also going to be fileing for disability SSI. This may take a year to get but they go back to the day I was diagnosed and also I now have 4 different drs. that have diagnosed me RSD. I still get very tired easly and pain is still way above a 10. The swelling has gone down a bit and I am able to move my toes *very little* but this are inprovments.

I took the girls to the dr. this afternoon and Tiara has a yeast infection in her mouth and privite aera do to the diabities. She also has a cold / viruse thing going on so she has 3 new meds to take. RayLee well be finally getting her allergy testing done next week I had to canceal the other appointment because of my pain.She also has a red throat possiable strep but wont know tell tomorrow. She is going to start seeing a counslor too she wants to do this and so we set it up today.

Well I am going to go now am getting pretty tired. Well update soon.

Good Evening Everyone………

I am just popping on here real quick to let you all know how it went with the Dr. today. I know pretty much nothing more. My dr. had to talk with my pain dr. after he saw me today and he said he would try to get back to me either tonight or tomorrow. Since it is 7:42pm now I am thinking he well reach me tomorrow.

I am still in a great deal of pain and just sitting here at my computer hurts me bad. Also because of all the meds. I am on right now it is very hard for me to stay awake.

Girls are doing well. Tiara has been complaining of a sore throat lately but am hoping it doesn't get worse or end up with strep throat.

UPDATE: 3-31-06

GOOD EVENING AND SO SORRY FOR THE LONG DELAY IN UPDATES……

I well start with Monday the 27th of March. I was woken up about 3am by my mom because she had a horrible flu. She was at my home because she was going to watch my girls while I went out of town to the Volunteer Conference. I was able to go back to sleep for a little bit then I woke at 5:30am to the phone ringing and it was my dad letting me know that a huge crane fell unto the Tacoma Narrows Bridge so it was closed and I need to drive around which is like a 2 hour drive. I had to call the girls school and have one of the secretaries pick up girls that morning because my mom was to sick to drive.

I got to the hotel about 20 minutes early so I drove a block away to a grocery store to pick up something cheap for dinner. When I returned to my van it would not start. It had no *juice* at all. A nice guy tried to jump it for me but nothing happened so he gave me a ride to the hotel. I checked into the conference and left the keys at the front desk for my dad to come by and see if he can do something to help the van. He ended up buying a new battery and all was fine. (Thank-you Dad for the *early* birthday gift.)

The conference went well and I learned a lot. I am so glad I went. My mom and my aunt did a awesome job cleaning my house and I am glad my mom is feeling better. *Thank-you Mom and Aunt Carol* Wednesday was girls last day of school until April 10th. I had good reports from their teachers and both of them did really well on their report cards.

Today girls and I drove my Aunt Carol home to Port Angeles. I was a nice trip there and back. We Didn't stay long since we had to come home a pack. Yes I said pack……

Tomorrow we are going to Mr. Sellers house *school Principle* to house sit and doggies and kitties too. We well be there tell April 9th I believe but we could be back as soon as April 7th. I well be away from my computer this hole time but well try to update from their computer as often as I can.

Tiara's best friend Haley well be spending the whole spring break with us too. So this well be fun for all 3 girls. I had them pack things tonight like craft things and games and so on well now it looks like I might need a U-Haul truck to take it all over there….. *just kidding* but it is a lot.

Sickness wise we are doing fine. I am praying real hard Tiara does not come down with the nasty flu. My foot pain wise is getting worse I think because I went today with out meds. So I could safely drive my aunt home. I go April 5th for my pain block shot so am hoping it helps more then the pills because right now the pills are not really working. They make me REALLY tired if nothing else. That is why I am writing this update on Word and then copy and paste it later. I need to get up and walk around a little bit otherwise I fall asleep.

If I don't have enough energy tonight to e-mail Angels Cindy and Marni I want to let you both know we love you lots and we wont be home tomorrow or next Friday to get safeway.com food. Also Marni we got the awesome pants and they fit great.

Ok well I need to jump on line real quick and put this on Tiara's sight and then go to bed so I can get up early and pack the van up and head out the door.

We want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our ANGEL CINDY. We hope your birthday is as wonderful as you. We love you so much and we are counting the days tell we see you......* Ok on to other things.....

Tiara is doing well. She had a wonderful time the other day on her field trip. She is having a friend stay the night tonight. RayLee is doing well also. She wants to go to the local libray tomorrow to find more books to read. Her exzema is looking better in some parts.

As for me I went to the pain clinic yesturday and the Dr. I got specializes in RSD and when he looked at me foot he said it was one of the worst he has seen. He told me to think of him as my new best friend since I well be going there for years to come. What I have well be with me forever. There is no cure but we can control the pain and work around it. Basically we need to trick my brain into thinking it is ok and start using it more once we get the pain under some kind of comtrol. He also gave me a shot in my lower spine of like 5 different kinds of meds. and these well contiune once a week for 6 weeks to kill the infection that is running through my body. I have pretty bad side effects from this but they seem to last like 12 hours and then I am ok. My mom well be here this Sunday until Wed. so she can watch the girls Mon. and Tues. while I go out of town to a volunteer conference. Girls and I are very happy to have her come here and am hoping she might bring my aunt with her.

UPDATE: 3-22-06

This morning I went to my nerve Dr. and learned that I do have RSD in my left foot / ankle. At the end of this week we well start treatment and a thing called a block so it well block the pain. A part of me is relived to be dignosed finaly but the other part is very worried and scared. I well have this the rest of my life but it can be controled. Little things like walking up my moms stairs this weekend set it off big time and it takes me awhile to bring the swelling and pain down to barable.

Tiara is doing better and is at school today. She has a feild trip planned for this coming wednesday.

RayLee still is broken out all over her body but is doing well otherwise. She well be allergy tested soon for the second time in her life to see if there is something that jumps out that we can stay away from. The last time she was tested she was a baby.

It is a lovely sunshinny day here today and it feels nice.

I am very tired today because I had lots of pain all last night so didn't sleep much.

Also am worried that all my bills wont beable to be paid this month because child support is so far behind and my gas and electric bills were high this month. It is so hard to be a single mom and only having one income of daughters SSI right now. I am unable to work because of my foot and my nerve dr. suggested I start appling for disablity so I well be doing that this week also. I know it takes awhile to get it but I am starting the paper work now. I don't mean to come here and whin to all of you it is just hard at times and it is good for me to get it out. Girls and I well make it we always do. Please just say an extra pray for us during these hard times is all I ask.

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE..........

Girls stayed home today. Tiara had a seizure yesturday during school and then woke this morning with a fever and a tummy ach. RayLee woke this morning with a bad headach that is still there but not as bad. So we spent the day watching a movie and having chicken noodle soup.

This weekend if Tiara feels better my mom has invited us over to her house. I well know if we go by Friday. Sorry this is so short but am going to go check Tiara's temp. to see if it has gone down any.

I well update more soon.

Tomorrow is my bone scan test for my foot. I hope it shows what has been going on with my foot.

UPDATE: 3-13-06

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE…………..

I would like to wish a very special happy birthday to our dear friend Linn. I am so sorry I haven't talked to you in a few days. Things here have been busy and I was pretty depressed this past couple of days but am getting better now.

I spent most of the weekend on the couch with my foot up. The swelling is bad and the color change is scary. Girls and I watched the new Harry Potter movie twice and also a few other DVD's we had around. Friday night we watched High School Musical on Disney for like the 6th or 7th time.

Tiara had a major melt down when I told her about her bike. She didn't understand why someone would steal yet another bike from her and I didn't have the magic words she wanted so we both cried for awhile.

We had nice weather today and this afternoon I took girls to the park for about an hour just to get them out of the house.

RayLee well be seeing her skin Dr. this week because her eczema is way out of hand and now it hurts pretty bad.

Tiara well have another EEG on April 11th.

UPDATE: 3-9-06

This well be a quick update but wanted to let everyone know how the past hour has gone for me. I took girls to school this morning and left my home secured and fine and stayed at school for about two hours. I came home at 11:55pm today to find that some stupid person cut through a very heavey cable lock on my girls bikes and stoled Tiara's bike and also took 2 screens off two windows trying to get in. I have sticks in every window. THANK GOD.....

I am thinking this person needed it way more then my daughter did and that God well take care of them at some point. I am also thinking I am blessed to still have the things in the home even if it isn't much. I am also thinking and stressing now because at 3:30pm this afternoon I have to break my daughters heart and tell her that for the second time this year someone stoled her bike. That well be the hardest for me. She was only able to ride it a few times since we have had only rain here since Christmas and Santa brought that for her. She thought it was so cool because the brand name was Tiara and so it was on the seat and main bar. (the school princple and his family actually bought the girls their bikes for christmas this year and I just got off the phone with him and I am still crying)

I know God only gives you what he thinks you can handle but am wondering how much he truely thinks I can handle. Yeah it is just a bike to some but to Tiara this was something very special. I know everything in my home is replaceable but I am now going to have the thought in the back of my mind as I leave my home or even go to sleep are me and my girls safe in our home?

Well I took all the right steps and the officer that came to my home gave me a case number and took down all the info. and even checked out the inside of my home for me just in case. Now I need to go get girls and tell Tiara the horrible news.

I am so sorry for venting like this but it is scarey and horrible and I just don't understand some people. We girls and I well be fine and we well make it through this also and learn from it.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE………..

Well after hours of work time this weekend girls got their science fair projects all done. It took a lot of time and research and tape and markers but we did it and it was actually quit fun. RayLee did hers on Crystal growth the difference between dark and light and Tiara did hers on Sugars effect on glucose level. In other words it a project on diabetes in so many words. Both projects turned out awesome and both girls and happy about them. We turn them in tomorrow and the judging well be in the afternoon. I well let you know how it goes.

Tomorrow I take Tiara to Tacoma for her Nerve Dr. apt. and we well see what plan we try next. I well let you all know.

I went to the Nerve Dr. this morning and I well know more on the 20th of this month after we do 3 more major test. The dr. said it looks like RSD which in so many words is a disease that attacks your nerves. He thinks it could have started from a bad choice in treatment. There is NO cure for this and if it is it I well be getting a port of some sort into my spin and have weekly to bi weekly injection called a BLOCK that well hopefully stop it from growing more. As I learn more of this and actually get the correct spelling of it and find out if this is truly what I have I well pass the info. Onto all of you.

Well I better get going I am watching a little girls this afternoon and she is telling me she wants lunch now so I must go and make her something.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE......

Tiara fell last night a hit her head pretty good. She was asleep by 6:30pm and has only come down to the nurse at school once for ice so far today. Other then that she seems to be doing ok. We are going to be working all weekend on her sicence fair project so until that is done we aren't doing anything else. RayLee well be working on hers too.

Other then science fair projects and Tiara's headaches nothing else is really new here. RayLee is still fighting her sinuse infection and exzema but otherwise doing well. Thank-you to everyone that stops by here and checks on Tiara and *us* we sure do love it and need all the love and pray and support we can get.

UPDATE: 2-27-06

Good Morning to everyone………

Tiara is doing much better today. The whole where her tooth was has finally stopped bleeding and is starting to heal up. Her blood sugars are still running high so am putting another call into her Dr. tomorrow. It might be as simple as making a adjustment in her long lasting insulin. This coming week all three of us well be extremely busy because science fair at their school is March 7th and this is ¼ th of Tiara's grade. She well be doing one on how sugar effects your glucose when you're a diabetic. RayLee is doing hers for fun since only 2 second graders entered. She well be comparing crystal growth between dark and light.

RayLee is doing better cough and cold wise. Her eczema has grown to cover almost her whole body including her left inner ear.

I am doing better also except my ankle and now my sinus infection thing has moved to my chest so I am coughing a lot now but mainly at night.

Well I better get the day going I have to put cloths away and clean kitchen.

I am waiting to hear back from our local Barnes and Noble book store manger about maybe doing a signing for Tiara. If this happens the local news paper well cover it too. UPDATE: 2-24-06

Well it was a interesting night last night which made for a very interesting morning and a answer to Tiara's sickness this week.

See she has been complaining of a toothach along with ear infection and high blood sugar numbers and last night well she was up most of the night in lots of pain. So this morning I took her to the denisit at 8am and find out that she had a infection in one of her moler teeth that led up to the sinuse infection and even ear infection. Well I did not think twice when the Dr. asked if he could pull it and after 2 hours of waiting and a lot of numbing shots and so on. Tiara is now home asleep on the couch and the TOOTH FAIRY well be paying her a visit tonight.

I took them both to the dr. yesturday and all 3 of us are on the wonderful Z-Pack for sinuse and ear infections. RayLee got a new kind of cream for her Excema. She is at school today and is doing alot better.

I want to thank Angel Cindy for the awesome groceries this week. Everything was perfect and we are so blessed.

Well I am going to go make something soft for Tiara to eat when she wakes up.

UPDATE: 2-21-06

So sorry for the long time between updates. We have been very busy here. Trying to spring clean the home because it well be inspected today or tomorrow and we can't have a dirty house. Once we started cleaning we ended up totally cleaning it all so it is nice now.

RayLee has a double ear infection and fever and runny nose so she is home today.

Tiara is complaining that her ear hurts also so am taking her to the dr. later today.

My ankle is big time flared up again so back to the dr. I go sometime this week.

Not much happening here lately. My gas heat is still out but we have ajusted well to the cold. Housing well be out today to see if they can fix it. I have been using the electric floor heat but not alot since it cost so much.

Well I need to get Tiara to school and come home and care for RayLee.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.....

We hope you all had a very nice love day. We had a good one. I was able to buy the girls a balloon each and a couple of girly things from the dollar store. They enjoyed it and THANK-YOU to Angel Marni for making it possible to do so.

Tiara has been doing real well. Sunday evening she had a pretty big sizure. Anger and spaceyness and keeping mind on one item and shacking were some of the effects during her sizure. Other then that she seems to be alot more alert and happy since I had taken her off the meds. Also we heard from her first nerve Dr. yesturday whom opened her own office and is now able to take Tiara back if we wanted to go. Wow I was so thrilled because Dr. Vora is awesome and so good with Tiara and I.

I want to give a huge thank-you to Angel Cindy in Calf. the food was to perfect and we are forever blessed. Also to Susan F. for the cute girly girl nail kits. And to J. *sorry I didn't write down your address please e-mail it to me because we have a thank-you for you* You sent the wonderful heart shaped baskets filled with wonderful items for the girls. RayLee still has exzema from head to toe and with the cold snap that is hitting Washington state right now she well only get worse before she gets better. Other then that she is doing well.

UPDATE: 2-12-06

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE……………

Tiara is doing well. She has been totally off her seizure meds. For a week now and has only had a couple of small seizures. Blood sugar wise she is running a little high but this is normal for her.

She well be going to Ariel's house tonight. www.caringbridge.org/visit/ariel Linn *her mom* has a lot of fun things planned. I am sure they well have a blast as always. Thank-you Linn and family for caring so much for us.

RayLee did go to school today but is really stuffy and her eczema is horrible and head to toe. This happens when her body fights any cold or flu or illness. She has a bad seal back like cough and runny nose and when she gets sick EVERYONE around her feels her pain and misery. She is not a happy sick person and nothing makes her happy. Trust me Tiara and I try our hardest to cheer her up but we learned fast to just stay out of her way. She is one that doesn't like to be sick and hates to miss any school. She doesn't get real sick often so we learn to adjust when this happens. If she feels better tomorrow her and I well go to Ariel's so she can play with them and have some fun. But if she doesn't feel well Linn has said she well brings some goodies home for her.

We are having WONDERFUL weather here. It feels like a summer day outside. It is just what the Dr. ordered after spending months indoors from the rain. I would share the sun with all of you but am not ready to give it up yet. I am sure the rain is on it's way soon.

Tuesday is Love Day and so girls well be having a party at school in their classrooms. Also that evening is family night and so since we have no other plans we well be going to that. Which is fun and I of course volunteered to help out and am hoping for a big turn out but since it is Love Day I don't think it well be that big.

I wanted to take a second and let ANGEL RICKY know he was long distance hugged on his birthday the other day. Even though Angel Marni write the most we know you also care and we hope your birthday was as special as you. Thank-You for EVERYTHING……….. We love you both…… Also thank-you to Angel Cindy for the wonderful cards we enjoy them so much. Also to Angel Susan for the care package for love day it was perfect and we can now do our nails at our next slumber party. THANK-YOU………….

UPDATE: 2-7-06

Hello everyone and I want to thank all of you that take the time to check in on Tiara *us*. I really means the world to her *us*.

Tiara is doing ok. She has been having a few small headachs lately and a upset tummy over the weekend but otherwise she is ok.

RayLee is still head to toe with eczema rash. Which I believe is from all the wettness we have had and also stress and alagries. Otherwise she is happy to be back in school after a 3 day weekend. She loves school so much.

We battened down the hatches last Friday night into Saturday for the big wind storm. It was pretty bad but we have been through worse. Our power flickered a few times but we were prepared.

I would love to voice how I feel the Seahawks Super Bowl went on Sunday but I am sure you have all heard it. I don't think it was fare but am hoping to have another chance next year. Girls and I had a blast watching it though.

BIG THANK-YOUS GO TO CINDY IN CAL. FOR THE WONDERFUL FRUIT BASKET THAT ARRIVED SAT. DURING OUR WIND STORM SO IT WAS PURFECT TIMMING. ALSO THANK-YOU TO ANGEL DEBRA FOR THE WONDERFUL FL. UPDATE: 2-4-06

I wanted to jump on here real quick before the BIG wind storm arrives. The local news is saying we could get up to 60 mile an hour winds and LOTS of RAIN *as if we don't have enough water here*

The school week went by well. Tiara is doing much better sickness wise and RayLee is doing well except for her bad EXZEMA.

Girls are off school on Monday so depending on how much damage the latest storm brings us we may go to my moms for the weekend to watch the SUPER BOWL *GO HAWKS* on Sunday and stay till Monday. We well see how things turn out in the next 24 hours though.

Tiara and RayLee and I have now watched the new movie on Disney Channel called HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and we have the words to the songs down pretty good. *Thank-you Marni for the awesome poster of the show Tiara has it hanging next to her bed.*

UPDATE: 1-31-06

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE........

Tiara is doing much better. Her fever broke late last night so today she went to school. I on the other hand spent most of last night and this morning in my bathroom but am feeling ALOT better tonight. Tiara still has the seal bark like cough but is doing much better other wise.

Tiara had a wonderful day at school today because her best friend came back to our school and ended up in Tiara's same class so she is very happy.

RayLee is doing well except her exzema is bad and all over her. We deal with it one day at a time.

This weekend is the big SUPER BOWL game.... GO SEATTLE SEAHAWKS... Girls and I well either spend the weekend at my mom's or spend it at home and have our own little superbowl party. I well let you all know which one we do.

This afternoon a giant light was in the sky and alot of locals were shocked as to what it was.... Because we have not seen the sun in many days it was a breath of fresh air. People around here just seemed happier this afternoon it was nice. But as nice as it was a storm is coming our way tomorrow afternoon to bring us yet again many days of rain so the wonderful light in the sky well be short lived.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE………………..

This may be a short update because Tiara is very sick. At 2:30 this afternoon she came to the office at her school and we took her temp. She had a 102 temp. I brought her home and she was pretty much couch bound until about an hour ago she started throwing up. So this well be a long night for us.

While I was working at their school today we sent home a lot of kids who were throwing up, so the flu bug has landed here.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prays. I well update more soon.

UPDATE: 1-19-06

Hello everyone……….

With Tiara's Doctors approval I am taking her off the Topamax because it was interfering with her school and her emotional state. So the seizures are increasing . After this medication gets totally out of her system we well try yet another but until then we well deal with the seizures. She has been having leg pain lately and I have a dr. apt. for her next Tuesday it was for this past Tuesday but one of my apt. ended up taking 3 hours since they found a infection in my gums and I was in lots of pain the rest of the day. I am better now.

RayLee has yet another sinuses infection and her Eczema has totally gone wild. She has the skin rash all over her body and the are around her lips are raw and hurt. She is in school because she has no fever and she is the type that well not miss school no matter what.

Girls were invited to a birthday party this Saturday. It is for one of the girls I watch after school. She is turning 6 and it well be a Dora party. Other then that we really have nothing else planned. Sea Hawks play on Sunday and I believe if they win this one they go to super bowl but I could be wrong since I am not a huge football fan. Girls have talked about a football party with chilly and such so we may do that.

As far as my calf pain not quit sure what we came up with besides a ripped muscle but am seeing a nerve Dr. next week because they are still unable to find a pulse in my left foot.

Well I am going to go clean house and then get girls from school.

UPDATE: 1-18-06

Tiara stayed the night at Areil's Friday and came home haveing a seizure and also I believe she had one with Linn that morning. Her seizures are increasing because I and her Dr. are taking her off the Topamax seizure med. Because the side effects were worse then the siezures. After her system is cleaned out we may try yet another but at this time my concern is safley getting her off this drug first.

I took the girls to the movie on Sunday. We saw Hoodwinked and it was funny, but they totally shot the whole red riding hood story right out of the water but I guess that was the plan. Girls liked it and thats all that mattered.

I am off to make lunch now. I well update more later.

UPDATE: 1-2-06

We well be going home tomorrow sometime. It has been a very long week house sitting. The animals keep us very busy and Tiara has gotten the idea of wanting a puppy out of her head for now..... :)

Tiara had another seizure last night but blood sugars are doing pretty good and her horrible cold seems to be alot better.

RayLee has broken out in her Eczema all over her body. It is really bad around her lips and chin area so bad that it is cracking and causing bleeding. We are trying our best to stay above it.

Girls and I had soup in bread bowls tonight for dinner and we have fun shaped cheese and meats and cookies and chips and dip for party food and we made homemade slushies with no sugar for our fun drinks. Girls have already taken their baths and are watching TV now and have started asking is it mid-night yet when it is only 6:21pm now..... :)

Well I am going to go clean this house up and pack some of our stuff then girls and I well play CONGO (Thank-you Angel Marni's Friend for the game) We LOVE IT........

Tiara is 9 years old.

Condition=Diabetes type 1 and Todd's palasy and Epilpsey

I would like you to meet my daughter Tiara Marie. She was born in Bremerton, Washington on December 4th, 1995. She was a very happy baby and always on the go from day one. Except for the weekly ear infections she was hardly ever sick until....

December 2002 she lost 10 pounds in a month and was drinking water like no tomorrow and her whole emotional state changed in that month. On January 21st, 2003, I took her to the doctors because she was going potty a lot and I didn't put all these changes together. After some blood work we were off to the hospital for a 7 day stay and we found out she had Diabetes Mellitus Type 1. She took control from day one and did her own blood checks and shots. I knew it would be a life changing thing for the whole family.

On September 24, 2003, she was diagnosed with Todd's paralysis, which is a temporary paralysis of a part of her body during a seizure.

In May of 2004 she started having seizures on a daily basis and so off to the nerve doctor we went. We found out after several very long tests and a lot of EEG's that she has Epilepsy "seizure disorder" So she is now taking daily medications and we still are upping the dosages because she still has break through seizures.

In a nut shell this is her story. She loves Winnie the Pooh and loves to do arts and crafts. She does her own shots and checks her own blood at least 4 times a day. I am so very proud of her and wish I had half of her strength and braveness.

She has a little sister RayLee who turned 7 on October 8th. RayLee loves soccer and Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She is on Diabetes watch because her last A1C count came back low. I pray everyday that she doesn't come down with it but if she does she knows what to do. She takes real good care of her sister.
