Tikvah Peterson

UPDATE: 2-01-03
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Tikvah is 100% and
getting along great. Thank you so much for the prayers, our
God is a great God!

UPDATE: 12-04-02
Thank you for your continued prayer and diligence to keep up.
You must get so many prayers. The latest is that Tikvah is
moving in a positive direction with her health. She has taken
a few step which has encouraged the doctors and family that
she is beginning to show signs that the right side of her body is
coming back. We are hopeful that she will regain full function.
She has been in good spirits as well. A smile goes a long way...

UPDATE: 11-21-02
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Please continue to keep Tikvah in your prayers. She remains in the
hospital with complications from her fall. At this point the right side
of her body is unresponsive and is not functioning. Tikvah is 20 mos.
old.
Shalom,
Miller & Debbie

UPDATE: 11-14-02
Dear Prayer Warriors of Christ,
Update on the Peterson Family;
Today (Nov. 13) there was a hearing for the family. At least 50 members of our congregation showed up to support the Petersons. The Child Protective Services came into the hearing wanting to remove the baby (Tikvah) from the home all together. This was frightening news to say the least. Praise God the outcome was not as such! Tikvah can remain in the custody of the mother, unfortunately Kip will be unable to be at home. He will, however, be granted monitored visitations. Although this is difficult for them and their family life, it is far better than Tikvah being taken away.
There will be a full blown trial within 60 days. The immediate prayers we are seeking:
Tikvah's full recovery. Her eyes to be restored, movement to come back fully on the right side of her body and for no long lasting affects from this tragic accident.
Pray also for the medical examiner to see the truth of this matter and come to the conclusion that Tikvah was not abused and, in fact, that this was nothing more than an accidental fall.
Pray also for the continued strength of this family during this trial. As in all things, pray for God's will to be done.
Shalom,
Miller & Debbie

ADDED: 11-14-02
Baby Tikvah (not quite 2 years old) fell out of its crib (Friday Nov. 8th) onto its head. The baby is not doing well at this time, she is having seizures and remains in the hospital. Please pray for healing, Also, the father (Kip) was charged in this incident with child abuse, they're saying that he shook the baby causing its injuries. All who know this family know beyond a reason of a doubt that Kip would never have done such a thing. Further testing is showing that the cause could have been a blow to the head, fall... Tomorrow (Wed. 13th) is critical as there is a court hearing at 11am. At this juncture the baby has been awarded to child protective services pending trial. PLEASE PRAY that this case will be resolved tomorrow, that the gates of Heaven will pour forth its angels upon the court room and good will prevail in this case. We thank everyone who has been praying,
please continue lifting this family up! Shalom, Miller & Debbie Living In Christ -
